I've been playing OOTP12 for the last couple weeks. I've guided the '92 Jays to a scintillating 100-46 record (currently up 2-0 against the Indians in the 4th inning) on the back of an MVP-calibre performance from Robbie Alomar (.335/.422/.472, 61 SB). Rance "The Man" Mulliniks has put together a heart-warming, triumphant last stand (.258/.367/.359) after filling in for 3B Jeff Kent for four months (torn ankle ligaments).

OOTP is working on a hockey sim right now... That's pretty exciting!

I'm completely overwhelmed when I play this game, as there are so many things to do. I'll probably prefer the hockey sim.
Haven't had much time to play, but trading is much more difficult this year.

Haven't bothered since '10, still in multiple 6.5 online leagues. I still think that's their best one, interested to see if '13 can beat it.

It's really not worth buying the new one every year.
The game hasn't changed that much for several years, mainly because it's pretty close to as good as it can get on it's current format.
Life's like a dice game and I'm in to win.
So the OOTP hockey sim is looking good and will be released on Sept. 3. Hopefully we get a broads league a lot of the Flyers broads played TH which was fun while it lasted. I would assume a good amount of Flyers broads would be interested in playing.

That's what they said. They could have pushed the game out, but it wouldn't the right thing to do. If you pre order the game you do get the current beta version though which is neat.

I bought it, but the beta doesn't seem to work very well. I wanted to do a historical game. I started in 1992 with the Sens. I had a salary budget of $3.2mil, which I assume was valid for the time. And there was a leaguewide salary cap floor of $56mil. So it wouldn't let me play.
I bought it 2 weeks, it keeps crashing, and draft picks are worth the best players in the game
