    Well, in this case, the low revenue teams are likely not in a position where they will need to cut salary to get under a lower cap. The lower cap ceiling helps low budget teams, so I doubt they'd be complaining. They'd already be getting most of what they wanted.

    That's where the ability to move cash/cap in a trade could come in handy.

    Lou Lamoriello on PTS talking about young players and the CBA, says out of necessity, players are now only spending 1 year in the AHL developing, whereas before the lockout, it was 2-3 years. Says it's important to be able to keep and develop players so they can have long careers. Didn't like Free agency so early.
    I've known it since the Philly game.

    Good luck getting that changed. Seems like the teams want everything and have little to offer the players.
