sad news.
sad news.
Bring us your idiots, your hussies, your blue and your dreamy. Your steady, your huddled, your fisted and creamy. Your villains, your filthy, your cunts and your meese. Your carpenters and fishers and pastors and beasts. Your rednecks, your Safas, your trolls and your Brits. And like all good sailors, we like us some tits.
Very sad indeed. I don't usually give two fucks when celebs die, but the B-Boys were and still are great. I'll miss that voice.
Shit...he was my fave.
RIP Adam Nathaniel Yauch, may your loops and rhymes rock the heavens eternally.
<Insert derogatory comment/post here.>
RIP MCA.
MCA has been one of my heroes since I was nine. This is a dark day.
Looks like he finally reached Brooklyn.

Very sad, I remember buying some Beastie Boys albums when I was 11 back in 1992, loved their music right away and have ever since. If the BB's ever want to continue making music (highly doubt it, I think they have contemplated full retirement for a long time now and will after this), they will need to add another gravelly voice MC do their group to balance the nasally AD-Rock and Mike D.

Big part of my teen years ... middle-age and growing old sucks.
Actually the most affected I've ever been by a celeb death. He was really an exceptional person.

Today we lost an important one.
I ate a bagel in his memory.

The American Dream isn't an SUV and a house in the suburbs;
it's Don't Tread On Me.
Thought this was pretty awesome (yes I'm gay)
Still funny both because Coldplay chose the song the Beasties haven't played live in 25 years because it supposed to be a parody of rock songs, and their audience only recognized it from the refrain.
