Easily the best game of the season tonight. Outshot the Oilers 18-0 in the 2nd period and put up over 40 for the game. Coyle with 2 points, Koivu with 3, Suter with another apple. He's been great for the last 10 or so games.
Even in the loss in Anaheim they looked like a good team.
Things are starting to come together.

Yeah today the team actually looked like a team. Having new faces like Parise, Granlund, Zucker, Suter, etc...overall team chemistry is starting to come together. Hell, Heatley didn't even look half bad, still a douche though.

I like the Granlund, Heatley, Bouchard line. I'd like it even better if there were another player like Coyle on it. Granlund and Bouchard are redundant.

I think the line combos tonight were the best I've seen so far this season. Nice and balanced, good puck possession on the top 3 lines. Again, I'd like to see Bouchard moved and somehow pick up another big, skilled, right handed winger.

Bouchard is gone by season's end.
He's a good player in the right situation, just not sure where that is or who would be looking for a player like him. Not sure what the Devils plans are for Clarkson, but I'd love to see him on this team. Gritty goal scoring is what this team needs more of.
I'd also like to see a better version of Clayton Stoner on this team. Matt Greene is who I'm thinking of.

Bouchard is probably wanting out as well, I'd be surprised if he took a cheap deal to stay with them. There might be a few teams that might want him and he could rebound elsewhere.

Darcy Kuemper has been good when he has played and then they have Matt Hackett too. I wouldn't be surprised if they did the same thing the Caps did and go with both kids in net. A couple of 23yr old's being the 1A and 1B on the team.
Unless Harding finally has a handle on his meds, maybe they go after a veteran for the AHL as the 3rd depth guy in case one of the youngsters needs a little more time but the way they've played when called up (Hackett last year, Kuemper this year), I think Fletcher is probably learning towards going with either 1 or both next year I would think.
Just a guess...
Gustafsson comes over to play in Houston next year and both Kuemper and Hackett are on the Wild to start the season. Wild have an unreal stable of goaltenders right now, Johan is probably one of the best in the SEL and could possibly steal the #1 job from DK and MH in a year or two.

They've been saying that all season. If they could move him, they would. He's probably the guy on the team with the "change of scenery" tag that desperately needs it. He's been replaced by Zucker long ago.
