@DarrenDreger: Bruins front-office should be well represented in Sochi. Julien on the bench and expect GM, Peter Chiarelli to be named to Oly management.

So I should cheer for another team right?

I am disappointed that Joe Sacco got the snub in favor of lesser talents for Team USA.

As per usual Americans who actually like hockey don't actually understand all the rules, or how many lines and players you can actually ice. God love them for trying though.

Well, you have to have a full set of starters, plus backups and special teams players, and then multiply by two to cover both the offensive and defensive plays.

US hockey has come a long way. In a another ten years they could ice two competitive teams, something Canada could have done since the 20's.

Had a gander at The Sports Network's hilarious roster projections.

A man that has recently been given his starter's job back on his NHL club might just be the man to lead Canada into Sochi as Roberto Luongo has been tapped by TSN's panel to make the trip.

Image

The third line brings a blend of familiarity and youth to Toews' flanks with a pair of Olympic rookies: John Tavares and Patrick Sharp.

Yes because Toews won't be playing with Richards and Nash/whoever is chosen over Nash. Image

Jamie Benn joins Bergeron as a forward depth option on the roster.

This is still the correct answer, + Couture, + Bouwmeester.

Impossible to know how Hockey Canada could select a pile of shit like Christopher Kunitz over Jamie Benn, the most elegant forward to play the game since Ronnie "Ronnie Franchise" Francis.

^ Probably have enough talent to improve on their 9th place finish at Vancouver 2010, though it will be tough considering all the garbage minor leaguers they're going to bring.
