For those who share the misfortune of missing some of the action I will be watching on Friday. You will have detailed analysis for at least the first fourteen minutes of period one, and then some spurts in the second period. After that I will mostly just recount the 1997 game 7 Clarence Campbell Conference Quarterfinal triumph of Edmonton's Oilers over the Stars of Texas.

Gudlevskis said that when he got hurt in the third period, just before Weber's goal, he was trying to buy time for his team to breathe.

The US right now is firing on all cylinders.
Everything is working out for them and they can build on that.

Canada seems to be disjointed
They will have to overcome that.

Both teams will play similar styles. Should be a good game. I think goal-tending (as it hottest one) will make the difference

It must have skipped from the Maritimes to Ontario. I've heard it at pubs/bars, Christmas/New Years Eve parties, hockey games, etc.

How many tries did it take for you to figure out how to call me old in a very nice way? :danson:

But you have a point - I just figured it was one of those songs everyone knows.

It should be noted that the band is from Vancouver and the song is well-known everywhere in Canada except Quebec.
