If Gary Bettman's goal is to grow the game in the USA, then he'll let them go. I haven't seen this much dumb patriotism from Americans in a long time.

Not going is a little radical, if they don't want PK to play just keep him off the team

you don't have to cancel the entire event

It's too bad all the people that could really run the Habs are busy doing talk radio, writing blogs or posting on message boards.

Now, Lajoie is an imbecile, a cretin and a plagiarist, who to use author Dany Laferrière's deliciously withering expression, "lives beyond his intellectual means."

We'd be looking at something like 10pm starts for the Eastern time zone. It would probably be even more reasonable as far as the West coast is concerned.

10pm starts sucks when you turn 40...

I was there. It was pretty cool.

I bought a big package of tickets. And sold off half of them for the price of the entire package so I ended up attending the games I did for free.

- the last great games before the Troubles
- Lemieux - Sakic - Iginla
- Thornton - Draper - Doan
- Vinny Lecavalier
- Tuomo Ruutu
- the debut of Reebok as a hockey supplier
- Bob Longo's best-on-best senior debut
- Kris Draper, shortside
- Andrei Kovalenko's rustled jimmies and bird flip to the Canadians behind the penalty box
- Frank Gehry
- North America's introduction to future superstar and heartless pussy Al Ovechkin
- "MARIO, SETS UP... SCORE! WOWOWOW! OHHHH BABY, WHAT A PLAY!!"

Bingus, get out of my fucking sight.

fifa does u23 with 3 exceptions. I could see that doing well. hockey world cup is stupid. so either u23 or everybody and no world cup.

it's the only time regular people give a shit about hockey, so it'd be foolish to get rid of the nhl guys.
