I forget the parameters of the rules. if its weighted equally by riding, Ford doesn't have a hope. If it's a straight up one member, one vote, he's a threat. He can sign up a ton of members from Ford Nation, and the PC membership ledger is pretty empty these days compared to where things were even in 2009.

So it IS weighted, which basically kills Ford's chances. Ah well.

I would fucking love it if Ford Nation were to hijack the Provincial PCs. But they simply cannot afford another assclown candidate ala Hudak.

So would I, and yet the PCs offered up the damaged Hudak as an alternative. Anything that forces them to take a step back from the Mike Harris model is a decent thing and I think being overrun by Ford nation would make the moderates in the PC party a lot more vocal.

If he was leader of the PC's, we'd be like 10 more of those billion dollar scandals away from him as premier. With the Libs in power, I don't like those odds one bit.

How incompetent are the Ontario PCs? Dalton McGuinty won three elections.

First one - Harris fatigue
Second one - Dumb school funding idea
Third One - Hudak
