This should be a fucking fantastic series. I expect 7 games and lots of gamesmanship. It will be a pleasure to see Bob Hartley coaching in the playoffs again. Ultimately though I think Vancouver carries the day.

Only way the Canucks lose this is if they fuck around with their goalies and yank Lack early when Miller hasn't shaken off the rust. The temptation will be there. But if they stick with lack they win easy.

That thing where Ferland took a penalty for dropping his gloves pisses me off. If Dorsett backs off , ok, 2 for Ferland, Dorsett gives him a little fake shove, which should even things out for trying to draw the penalty. Fuck that shit.

Where do you get these numbers? Canucks fans have definitely started supporting Lack but the majority seem to like Sbisa or don't mind him. Most sports fans don't even understand what they are watching.

They're obviously made up. But the comments section on the Canucks Facebook is great for the Sbisa signing.

Whatever it was it ends up as 42 PIMs and an automatic one game suspension for Engelland.

OOOH yeah life goes on, long after the thrill of Vinny is gone

It's too bad all the people that could really run the Habs are busy doing talk radio, writing blogs or posting on message boards.

Now, Lajoie is an imbecile, a cretin and a plagiarist, who to use author Dany Laferrière's deliciously withering expression, "lives beyond his intellectual means."

...as serious as a poutine shortage in Chicoutimi during a curling bonspiel...

Ganging up was how the Flyers got there rep. The Clarkes and co. didn't always want to fight their own battles nor do it 1 on. Go on yt and look up 1970s Habs Bruins Brawl. You'll see guys engaged in 1 fight while a 3rd guy throws haymakers.

probably a Calgary 2 on 1 somewhere else. In line brawls the thing is to keep guys out of mismatches, usually ends up with 1 guy engaged with someone but holding onto someone else' sweater or a linesman holding 1 guy a fraction too long.

Yeah, just watched a replay, pretty well what happened, 2 Calgary guys were tied up with a Vancouver guy and the linesman pulled one off and held him. Hamhuis didn't get involved as an aggressor though, he just go in the middle when Dorset went down. I can't see how they can penalize Hamhuis for stepping in when a guy was at a disadvantage. That would indicate that the right thing to do was watch his guy take a beating.
