I'd appeal up to the dean, I'm sure the dean would be more reasonable about it and toss you a bone.

Hope your dad is alright as well.

Thanks guys, he's doing better today than yesterday, looking like his old self. It helps he was released last night too. Never seen so much blood come out of a nose before.

I'm going to attempt to finish it tonight, but I'm sure it won't be finished, I was asking for one additional night. I've never needed an extension on any papers except this one. In my entire academic career.

Someone else said go to the Dean, I mean the best grade I could get is 50 points. Not really a make or break grade.

I would hand it in, but it's an online submission assignment.

Write the paper as normal but throw in random sentences calling the teacher a cocksucker or mention that Hitler had some pretty good ideas. See if the teacher actually puts an effort in.

I also like Prison Mike's idea. If you scan it and send it via email, CC the dean.

Glad to hear your dad is starting to do better.

A dean can always do something. It's a matter of being willing to help an individual. Shake enough branches and something will fall down.

Yeah man, deans can exert pressure on professors out the ass. Especially ones that don't have tenure. They will usually bend over backwards to keep the dean happy with them.

I'll take "Ways I passed advanced macroeconomics" for $500, Alex.

Nice auction listing I've found:

Wonder what that would be like for chasing pro athletes down to autograph it.

It's possible there's a grievance chain enforce you getto the dean. May go through the head of department, or student affairs.

Haha, I don't hate fat people, but it does annoy me when people say that, "you're lucky you can eat whatever you want"....all you can do is just invite them to join the torture sessions on the treadmill.

So my ice hockey game Thursday night, refs were hell bent on not calling any penalties against the other team. I got tripped 3 times (blatantly), slashed in the stomach and right hand, and they were playing chippy to us all game. That was just me. Other players on my team were being hacked and tripped too. Refs still call nothing for us.

So what happens? Mind you the other team has had 3 power plays, late in the game, one of the other team's players goes to rifle it out of their zone and blasts one of the refs square in the chest from about 6 feet away. He's yelling in pain, I'm laughing and yelling "The universe always balances itself out!"

Fuck that guy.

I rarely use the treadmill. There are a lot of other ways to build cardio without going near the treadmill.

Garage gym doesn't have to be in the garage it's just an expression. Also a kettlebell will do wonders if you know how to use one.

Running is definitely fuckin boring by itself, never understood how people did it. I've been using the bike more as a necessary evil than for enjoyment. All the cardio shit at my gym has a tv in it, so that's a minor plus sometimes. What kinda kettle bell stuff are you talking about, chris?

If you want to actually lose weight (or, like me, eat pretty bad and keep the weight off), you have to run, biking/elliptical/swimming isn't really going to do it IMO. Just bang out 15-20 miles per week and you'll be fine.

There isn't really a big difference when it comes to cardio... and swimming is definitely better than running. Works way more muscle groups, and is far less damaging to your body (running is really hard on your knees, ankles, etc.).

If you really want to lose weight, weightlifting is way better than cardio at that. Cardio is really inefficient for weight loss.

I've been eating more Chic Fil A than Wawa lately.

Speaking of all the Cardio shit, I could just NOT spend money on a home gym and get a membership to the Y. I really do love swimming and god knows I can't afford a pool.
