All I know is they better leave Chase alone or I'm throwing in my team fan card.

Seriously. I don't even care if this was the "right" move, I'm sad about it.

I'm not holding onto anyone for sentimental reasons. If they can get anything useful for these guys, and add a couple top prospects through the draft, I'll be happy to tune in three years from now.

Camp is open!

Dom Brown is grumpy!

We haven't signed any Cubans!

Amaro apologized to Ryan Howard!

When will he apologize to the rest of us?

The only apology I will accept is resignation.

Best quote from one of my friends: You haven't needed to "know a guy" to get decent Phillies tickets since 2010. Thanks, Rube.

2009 was the year everything went crazy with the tickets. I had been to ever opening day game since CBP opened until that year. Now I don't care that my tradition was broken.

I don't think you needed a Cliff Lee injury to realize that.

How does he still have a job? That's a real honest question. Does he have some sort of special relationship with the owner? Is the owner still allowing him to bask in the WS afterglow?

Not really fair. He actually fielded better rosters, they just didn't get hot at the right time.

They serve cocktails now, so everyone was fine. (Note: is that the worst idea in the history of Philadelphia sports, or the best idea?)

You could still get cocktails in a few places before but now it's everywhere. What's the over/under on how many days till someone does something beyond stupid and we get national attention?

I'm sure DFF will be thrilled that tickets will be cheaper to buy ...

Anyone else remember that bitching over at HF? He didn't like the fact that the Phils were now popular (i.e. winning) because he couldn't get tix for dirt cheap anymore. I'll take the winning. God knows the Phils shat on the baseball fandom of my teenage years with a vengeance.

Before the winning? Yeah, the cheap ticket prices were convenient. After, and now that they suck? Doesn't intrigue me at all

I'm going to a Yankees game in Baltimore with my girlfriend and her family (they're from northass Jersey). I think our tickets are like 70 or 80 something after silly fees...she told me they weren't too bad considering the seats. But damn, what a strange juxtaposition.

I was there once, when I was maybe 8 or 9, when the O's played the Mariners. So more than 15 years ago. I'm excited to get back and see at least one fun team (who knows what the Yankees will put out)
