I said yep. What a concept. I could use a little fuel myself and we could all use a little change.

Speaking of football, holy shit my Ravens can't hold onto anyone. Flacco better be the next Tom Brady or the Ravens are boned this season.

that contract for Flacco was a bit much. he's a good QB but he's no Manning or Brady.

Nope, but the sopoaga signing fully confirms it.

Pretty uninteresting day overall though for one with 5 fa signings.

Chung at least gives us an average safety, signing Sopoaga was retarded IMO this team has a virtually no chance to win a superbowl in the next three years. A lot of people wanted Casey the Eagles do a good job of getting who they want and the Fletcher signing could pay off.

It's still pathetic how you changed your name to gain access to the no Rick Blaines club.

Apparently we're going after a right tackle. That would be huge if true. I really want Smith.

I'm fine with sopoaga, even if they don't make the playoffs I think you need to have a quality NT in place so we can evaluate how some of these other players, especially cox, graham, and Kendricks fit in the 3-4

If the Iggles get Geno Smith here, this would be an epic first couple of rounds for them. I'm hoping my Skins can grab a safety here as quickly as possible.

They're already throwing enough shit at the wall at that position. I'd rather them take someone more likely to contribute at another position than another question mark at QB.

He's got physical talents, and now you're getting far more bang for your buck in the 2nd round. They need a QB going forward, maybe Smith isn't that guy long-term... but if he is and you pass on him, then that bones you. This is a QB league now. If you don't have that, it doesn't matter what you have at other positions. So, there's good reason to throw shit at the wall with QB. You can get by with scheme in most other areas (for example, the smoke and mirrors defense the Skins were running out there last year).

Of course, if you take him and play him at the expense of Foles and Foles goes on to succeed elsewhere, you're boned too. I guess it's more that I like what I've seen out of Foles than of Smith.

That only leaves them with 5 or 6 QB's.

Next up, Tebow introduced as a Saskatchewan Roughrider.

im going to guess this hurt just a little bit.

STANFORD, Calif. (AP) -- Josh Nunes is determined not to let the painful end to his Stanford football career be his lasting legacy.

The former starting quarterback retired from the sport Monday after a complete tear of his right chest muscle, ending a collegiate career filled with dramatic highs and devastating injuries.

Nunes' father, Tim, told The Associated Press that his son ruptured his pectoralis major tendon while doing his normal bench-press routine during an offseason workout in February. He dropped the weights on his chest - though the tendon had already ruptured - and had surgery a few days later to reattach the tendon with screws.

Pats are getting all sorts of press lately.

Arrest warrant issued for Patriots TE Aaron Hernandez
NORTH ATTLEBOROUGH, Mass. - June 21, 2013 (WPVI) -- ABC News is citing sources as saying an arrest warrant has been issued for star football player Aaron Hernandez.

The New England Patriots tight end is expected to be charged in connection with the shooting death of a semi-pro football player Odin Lloyd, 27, who was Hernandez's friend.

The investigator and other law enforcement sources tell ABC News that the security system - which included video surveillance - was smashed intentionally. In addition, a cell phone used by Hernandez was handed over to investigators "in pieces'' by his attorneys, the sources said.

Sources tell ABC News that police also want to know why a team of house cleaners were hired on Monday to scrub Hernandez's mansion.

The warrant has allegedly been issued on a charge of obstruction of justice.

State and local police spent hours at Hernandez's home on Tuesday night as another group of officers searched an industrial park about a mile away where Lloyd's body was discovered the day before.

Several law enforcement sources tell ABC News that police believe Lloyd was killed between 1 a.m. and 6 a.m. Monday, shot in the back of the head in a scrubby clearing of the industrial park. His well dressed body was not found until 5:30 p.m. Monday by a teenage jogger.

Sports Illustrated reported that the link between Hernandez and the case was a rented Chevrolet Suburban with Rhode Island plates that police had been searching for. The Sun Chronicle of Attleboro, Mass., said the SUV was registered to Enterprise and investigators wanted to analyze it for fingerprints.

obstruction of justice is the first charge levied against Hernandez. goodbye NFL career. what a stupid punk.

EDIT: wouldnt shock me in the least if murder charges followed which likely will be 1st degree.
