I tried it on you know who.

Not the actual thing (well, you know... we'll talk about that when we get together again), but the word.

Drew a blank stare.

"The fuck is a biffle, pédé?"

Has left the Métropole for too long I reckon.

It's believed #Habs are asking for a proven scorer and a 1st round pick for Pacioretty. Not actively shopping him, but Bergevin is listening to GMs, whom are calling.

Mumu, please find him a proven scorer

So, the Habs want a currently productive Pacioretty and a potentially future productive Pacioretty for a has been Pacioretty? It never seems to amaze me, these sloppy Portuguese sandwiches.

Nah. Devils do not really need a scoring LW who can't score any more. If they did, they would have just kept Henrique.

They are going to save their assets for young, top pairing defencemen (Carlson, OEL) or, though unlikely as it might be, Tavares.

I wonder: Would any of you sign off on Brayden Point for Pacioretti straight up? Yes, he's tiny. But he's actually a C and he is an awesome player who leaves us with a lot more cap.

Not straight up, no.

I worry that when he's not centring a 2nd or 3rd line like he is in tampa behind Stamkos and being 2a/2b with Tyler Johnson, that he won't have the same success.

Not sure if it's been mentioned yet, but hearing via NHL sources that #Preds in on #Sabres F #EvanderKane. Likely Buffalo would want one of the plethora of stud D-men Nashville has.

That wouldn't be a good enough comeback, we need to sign Plek to a very long contract at 7,5m$ per year first.

I'd trade Plek for a big mac combo. Not another McCarron, but like actually a Big Mac, Fries and a Drink.

It's too bad all the people that could really run the Habs are busy doing talk radio, writing blogs or posting on message boards.

Now, Lajoie is an imbecile, a cretin and a plagiarist, who to use author Dany Laferrière's deliciously withering expression, "lives beyond his intellectual means."

The #Oilers have recalled forward Iiro Pakarinen from the Bakersfield @Condors & placed forward Ryan Nugent-Hopkins on Injured Reserve.

On Calgary radio, @FriedgeHNIC says that Bergevin is the most active already among all GMs. He is, he says, working on the rebuild. He adds apparently only Price and Mete are untouchable.

Marc Bergevin has received at least three offers for captain Max Pacioretty. Hearing from a good source, one offer that has come in could get a deal done. #Habs

Lebrun just confirmed what I have thought for a while. MB seems to like dealing with Anaheim, I would not be surprised in the least to see one of Shaw, Pacioretty or Galchenyuk go to the ducks.
