Guy Boucher Part Deux - The Search for a New Mens Begins

Post #1 by Twitter bArt » Tue Apr 17, 2018 7:29 pm

So with Sil 790'd

where does Bergervin turn to

Ducharme
Tourigny
Latendresse
Lebeau
Bouchard
Veilleux
Boucher
Vincent

does he fire Carriere first?

OOOH yeah life goes on, long after the thrill of Vinny is gone

It's too bad all the people that could really run the Habs are busy doing talk radio, writing blogs or posting on message boards.

Now, Lajoie is an imbecile, a cretin and a plagiarist, who to use author Dany Laferrière's deliciously withering expression, "lives beyond his intellectual means."

...as serious as a poutine shortage in Chicoutimi during a curling bonspiel...

This was all over a while ago , I question whether it’s a big enough job for Bouchard in particular

Would Bouillon be considered? Personally, I doubt it but he is in charge of development in some capacity.

I'll just leave that there since I've learned the #Habs hadn't contacted Ducharme yet. He did say other teams have shown interest but no call from the org.

Ducharme: He said if the Habs wanted to contact him, he's sure they'd be able to find his phone number somewhere.

sounds pretty arrogant to me

What makes Ducharme and Bouchard the next garcons d'or anyway?
Also, let's keep this thread about Galchenyuk's on-ice performance, development and value and NOT bring in his personal life or race.

Was Bouchard coaching ? When I first heard his name, was it back in March, it seemed to be more of an administrative thing. I heard Norman Flynn saying that his stake in the junior team along with his ties to his backers, made it doubtful that he'd take an asst. GM job. When his name came out as a coaching possibility I was surprised.

No Dog, I first heard his name when he played in the WJC many years ago. He was originally mentioned as a potential Hab employee months ago, if not years. Driving into the city one morning I heard Marinaro asking Norman Flynn if he thought the talk could actually pan out. It was mentioned here weeks after it was making the media rounds.

All I know is that he was a very good commentator on rds back in the day. Therefore, I support this undertaking.

On the same note, maybe Marc Denis can take over Margolys’ job?

So I gather with Carriere's demotion this means Bouchard will have some say in recruitment and whatnot.

Bouchard seems really passionate about teaching the game. He seems like a dad type of coach, gets really close to his players. He always made the best of what he had in Blainville, his teams always gave everything they had.

First of all, shame on you for listening to Marinaro. I'd rather read Fids posts than listen to Tony

Bouchard was jack of all trades and master of none with the Armada. Part owner, GM, coach, governor, consultant, etc etc etc.

I think this gives him a solid challenge to work on getting kids to the next level. He is passionate about that aspect of the game.

I heard Norman Flynn saying that his stake in the junior team along with his ties to his backers, made it doubtful that he'd take an asst. GM job. When his name came out as a coaching possibility I was surprised.

He was coach and gm of the armada... and gm of the world junior team.

Both Ducharme and Bouchard are beautiful mens. I wonder if it's now a new politics for the Habs, would explain the coaches getting fired except beautiful mens Muller, they also demoted Carrière... Can't wait to see the new D coach.

Seems like my theory is gaining ground, Dufraise and Carrière junior are let go.
