Continue to hear Josh Ho-Sang's name in trade chatter. Would likely be part of a bigger deal. #Isles

Senators have given interested teams permission to talk contract extension with Karlsson. Sounds as if he is looking for Doughty deal (8x11)

Ongoing dialogue between MTL and Anthony Duclair. As many as 4 teams still interested.

Rumblings remain over Max Pacioretty’s future with the Habs, as we’ve heard the Penguins have recently inquired about his availability.

Mindful of Pens cap situation, salary would need to go back in a potential deal.

That's not really how Ottawa works these days. They're supposed to be forcing teams to take Ryan if they want Karl, because their owner is broke.

Who knows ? I'm not sure the owner is broke thing or a severe budget situation is as bad as is being reported. Some of the reporting lately suggests that they realize that including Ryan will lessen the return on Karlsson, so they might've moved off of that. If I'm Bergevin, and I'm not, I'd be proactively seeing if TB is trying to clear space. I have think they sigend Miller knowing full well they'd be moving him or Johnson.

And he didn’t trade Stamkos for Spezza! And he didn’t let his free agents walk away without replacing them. And he traded Drouin for Sergachev.

Sounds like Ottawa and Tampa Bay are getting close on a Karlsson trade. We will see what happens in the next 24-hours.

It's too bad all the people that could really run the Habs are busy doing talk radio, writing blogs or posting on message boards.

Now, Lajoie is an imbecile, a cretin and a plagiarist, who to use author Dany Laferrière's deliciously withering expression, "lives beyond his intellectual means."

Hedman just slightly better than Mete
Karlsson and Petry is close
Sergachev with his 8 minutes TOI will compete to the wire with Juulsen
Alzner over McDonagh any day

My NHL sources tell me a Karlsson deal to Tampa is done, pending a call with the league office.

No confirmation on the report out of Ottawa that a deal is done pending a trade call and while sense is this might be getting close, it's sounds like it's not to that point yet

-Sounds like a good deal Bergy, let me consult with Callahan's agent.

-I'm so sorry Bergy, we're gonna have to pass on the deal, Callahan wants nothing to do with playing in Montreal. Maybe next time buddy, ok? Take care now.

On peut maintenant confirmer que Mtl est en négos avec Jan Kovar de la KHL sur un contrat de 2 ou 3 ans quelques équipes intéressées mais personne ne peut offrir le temps de glace que Mtl lui donnerait. #Habs
