Only 9 points of difference between the two... and thats a 23 year old vs a 29 year old (who had the best season of his career, and also the highest shooting percentage of his career).
Brassard also had more ice-time.
On points/ice-time basis, Zbad actually produced more.
The big difference here is Brassard is much better defensively. But is that something the 23-year-old is developping in his game? or is it a real measure of difference?
Add to it the Rangers getting out of cap hell, and getting the upgraded pick... I think the Rangers have done really well here.
