I don't think anybody has taken Weber, Suzuki or Drouin, though. Well, I'm sure not will take Drouin at some point.

Mackinnon-Barkov 1-2 down the middle = :nice: - Barkov is going to get the respect he deserves this season. Totally underappreciated around the league.

Did you go for a slightly weaker D to load up front?

Shitty goalies but otherwise a very good team. Kovy should put up at least 30 goals. That shot will never slow down. All C's and D's are :trump:

From Chimera's monograph entitled "Building a Champion", chapter "Strategy", pages 226-229:

1) Always go with youth

2) Emphasize upside

3) Acquire the best goalies.

Yeah, not that any of them are a bad choice. Seems more balanced then others looking for just pure offense. Colin Miller is a gem with huge upside for a 5th round pick.

I wanted to pick Miller instead of Théo, but Théo will man the PP and he finished strong.

Willy B was a beast out of the gate last season. Nice pick. For you sake and mine, I hope there's no regression. His consistency is what surprised the most. We all knew he was good from day one. Ty Smith looks even better. Someone to watch out for next season.

Well, the draft isn't quite over yet, but...

Benn-McDavid-Tarasenko
Keller-Getzlaf-Boeser
(Tkachuk)

Giordano-Manson
Keith-Dahlin
(Trouba)

Rinne
Fleury
Crawford

Honestly, the best I've felt about my team to start a year. Probably means I get like last place.
