6 or 7 years ago, I walked into a wedding reception at some roof top Ottawa hotel. I saw a guy I knew so I walked over and he commented about some of the young ladies in really tight dresses. I think he was making a joke about the gap between their and our ages, when he said, 'and she knows we're looking, now we pretend to have been looking past her and gradually look away.' Being a male 101.

Did Perry Kernel officially turn heel last night? I tuned in just in time for the breakout nonsense and saw GOATllagher’s post-game remarks, but haven’t had the opportunity to look further.
Also, let's keep this thread about Galchenyuk's on-ice performance, development and value and NOT bring in his personal life or race.

People are really going crazy about PK Subban, more than it hought they would. We'd be worst with PK than Weber at this moment, as much as PK can play, he can't be your number 1 defencemens, he's way too weak in his own zone. He's marvelous behind guys like Ekholm and Swister.

His act is fine on a winning team but hard to deal with during the bad times. It's done , they dealt him. Do you hear much on RDS ? 98.5 ? I think it's a story in English land because they make it one.

For sure, the hosts on tsn radio are really bitter about it, except Melnik even though he has soured over the trade. Pierre McGuirre is going bunker about it, he litteraly said PK is a shutdown defencemen, and gentlement, a leader and he was beloved by all his teamates. As you all know i had inside info about how he was in the locker room, his teamates were fed up with him and he is everything but a shutdown defenceman; i usually listen to Pierre, but he's wrong about this one, saw it with my own eyes.

Very simple -it's part of the french-english dance ...

The English media is always looking for reason to bash the french speaking litmus test. You still hear it all the time on 690.

They hated the deal from the beginning because they hated Therrien and viewed the deal as a choice between the coach and the player. Bergevin supported Therrien, ergo...

The only one on the French beat that hates the deal is Matthias Brunet - but he tens to look at things through the advanced stats filter and he's a cunt.

Some aspects of cheering for this team are so strange. Trading an Anglo for a different Anglo is a part of the language issues? Gross.

It's not the trading of one Anglo for another.

It was the presumed power battle between the coach and Subban. The Anglo media de-legitimized Therrien from day one. The trade was what made their collective minds explode.

Who is given the biggest defensive assignments (toughest competition), and the bigger percentage of defensive zone starts... Subban or Josi?

Hint: it's not Josi.

The Preds use Subban-Ekholm as the top match-up pair.

I don't think he's hiding behind anyone.

Meltdown ? That’s where the narrative gets on my nerves. There was no fucking meltdown. They asked #11 about an ppposing player yet again. He’s sick of the story.

And I’ve always thought PK is a helluva d man , better in his end than he gets credit for, but not really a great jump into the play guy. Gets a lot of points with a great outlet pass. He got dealt for a stud d man for many reasons , which he was well aware of despite how he portrays it

I agree its not a meltdown.

The only thing I'll say is the guy tweeting the word "meltdown" clearly doesn't have the best command of the English language. That is pretty clear reading his tweet, he's a franco-first, who is trying to type in English. He didn't use the most accurate word, but maybe he doesn't know the proper word either.

Mumu is upset because there is video that shows he is not quite the pariah you made him out to be, and there are statistics that show he's not the defensive liability you claim? Sorry, just putting facts down here.

Why mcphee. Why?

Now you're in for a semantics argument about how Mumu said no one in the room liked him and now there's photo evidence some in the room are willing to still chat with him.
