Price has been hurt and even when hes played has been un price like.

Pacioretty went in the toilet.

Drouin is not as good as he should be.

Weber is hurt.

The 8m in cap.space is still not spent.

I didnt foresee all of those happening at once.

My bad guys

Priorities (time lines not importance)

1) trade plekanec

2) put drouin and chuck both at center. Season is fucked. Might as well hope one of.them emerges. Their defensive issues? Who cares... season is fucked. Maybe they learn

3) figure out what you are doing with jerabek and deslauriers. If not resigning them. Trade them.

4) shop pacioretty. Only move for a big offer. If not wait til draft.

5) shop byron. Same as pacioretty

6) explore trading benn. Lots of d on the market so it may not happen and might be a summer move.

7) give hemsky away for free or cut him or whatever. Dont let him take a roster spot away.

8) call up scherbak

9).sign evans

1) In a month;

2) Never gonna happen. They made their bed with Gollenchong;

3) Both cheap signing, they'll be back;

4) Don't know about that, but obviously you move if the offer is amazing - do not Snow-Vanek this shit, bruv;

5) With a year left on a very cheap deal? Unless the offer is astronomical, you can still keep him for next year;

6) Without hesitating;

7) He doesn't hurt shit, whatever, he's gonna be LITR after his first game back, or you need useless bodies to dress in the dog days of march;

8) Not sure about that, but why not;

9) He's going elsewhere, he would be a fool not to.

You're a centre who wants to make the NHL. Why would you be a fool to sign on a team who have the worst centres in the league?

1. Wait for deadline - this is the only way you increase value. That being said, he might be more valuable injured :mkbét:

2. No and no - why continue the charade?

3. Sign them both

4. Trade him for best offer. Time's up - remove the stench, give C to Weber

5. We already have 4 picks in top 2 rounds, you would not receive proper value. Keep him. 15-20 goals annually.

6. No real value - would rather keep for 7th depth - unless you can get a 3rd.

7. Who gives a fuck - keeping him on contract for 3 months has in inconsequential.

8. No fucking way - let him develop and get stronger for the rest of the season - why bring him up in this train wreck? McCarron I would bring up.

9. He's another bottom 6 - no reason to lose sleep

1.) the deadline is a little over a month away... by trade him now thats what i meant.

2.) Why not try and see if they improve. Its not like you have other options. do we need to see more of De la Rose>?

3.) Sure, if the price is right... but what are they looking for. Find out now so you know what you are doing at the deadline.

4.) the best offer better be good (a top end C prospect, a defence prospect, a high draft pick) otherwise i keep him til the draft.

5.) I didn't say trade him, I said see what you would get. He's on a contract at 1.167 million for next season, and can get 20 goals, many teams would find that intriguing and might be willing to overpay. I'm fine with keeping him, but you have to explore that value. Do you want to give a guy who relies on speed a 6 or 7 year deal after next season, into his 30s?

6.) If the value isn't there, fine keep him. Again he's a guy you can explore.

7.) I just don't want him in the lineup. Let kids like Carr and Scherbak play.

8.) I'd like to see what he can do on a line with Chuck. McCarron, meh... I don't see anything there other than a fourth liner... I couldn't care less what we do with him. He's De la Rose, except more physical but also slower, but still nothing there. I just don't see what he can bring other than fourth line.

9.) No reason to lose him for nothing either.

Not wrote:1. Wait for deadline - this is the only way you increase value. That being said, he might be more valuable injured :mkbét: -------wait for an offer, I think he's a last minute add anyways unless a team has an jury to deal with

2. No and no - why continue the charade? ----------I think Galchenyuk could play C with Bob Gainey and Jim Roberts on the wings. Maybe. Drouin, last night notwithstanding is a smart kid, he won't be wrecked by whatever they do this year,.

3. Sign them both-----They always need a Deslaurier. He is a Deslaurier, so why look for another ? Jerabek is worth working with, see what happens.

4. Trade him for best offer. Time's up - remove the stench, give C to Weber----------I think games like last night where he tells you what's wrong after he was part of it, sums up why he just isn't the guy.

5. We already have 4 picks in top 2 rounds, you would not receive proper value. Keep him. 15-20 goals annually.----Keep him unless he can be moved for something you want/need

6. No real value - would rather keep for 7th depth - unless you can get a 3rd.--- He has the mental makeup to play alongside a young'un, solid guy, but he's much better on the right. So do you put him with Jerabek or Mete ? It stalls Juulsen next year. Somehow it wouldn't shock me to see Petry moved, his skills don't quite total up the way they should. If you could get a lh version of Petry in some kind of larger deal, that's something to think about.

7. Who gives a fuck - keeping him on contract for 3 months has in inconsequential.-----Don't see how it matters to anyone outside his family
8. No fucking way - let him develop and get stronger for the rest of the season - why bring him up in this train wreck? McCarron I would bring up.----McCarron, according to a 690 guy, is still trailing the play constantly. I'd give Scherbak a few reward games, but I'd defer to whoever knows how he reacts.

9. He's another bottom 6 - no reason to lose sleep
- Hopefuly he signs. The more C's, the more chance something good happens. He showed nothng in the Spengler Cup though.

Otherwise I am not going to enjoy any of this shit until we become proper sellers.

And we are some ways away from that moment still.

I don’t much care about the luck factor though I acknowledge it. I am sick of the guy wearing the C usually going the excuse route. Just sets the wrong tone

Tonight is make or break, if we loose we will make the playoffs and if we win we'll be drafting Dahlin.

It almost seems like not only does the team is very badly built but the little good elements it has are actually quitters.
