In my family, if we put our shoes on the furniture, the elder siblings were allowed to insert us into one of six punishment holes my parents, uncles and aunts had created in the front yard of our house in M**** J**, S***********.

I never stated she was on a chesterfield. However, the photo strongly implies she is on a type of German chesterfield.

My Mom always said chesterfield, you'd never hear sofa out of her mouth. For that and many other reasons, she was a fine woman. She also said a tall instead of at all. I heard someone say that in the grocery store last week. Probably shouldn't have hugged them and wept.
