Great mens, was hoping for Gally, but the refs would never give us a PP and the media mafia would run him out of town during a slump.

I think the players would've found it weird or contrived if it wasn't Weber. Assuming it wasn't a vote.

He will be a great transition captain until Romanoff's 25 year run.

One thing that's become apparent, no one is untradeable.

Just as long as he can go in the room once in a while, grip each players by the right arms in a very tight grip, look at them sternly in the eyes while saying "Heeeeeeeeeeeeeey" with a deep and threatening voice, I don't think the Habs need an on-ice captain
This whole idea that we are even important is a fucking illusion. We’re just an accident left to our own devices.

I think Weber is still pretty darn tradable. If this year is all injuries and suck, that might change. That's why I want him traded asap, while he still has value.

It's too bad all the people that could really run the Habs are busy doing talk radio, writing blogs or posting on message boards.

Now, Lajoie is an imbecile, a cretin and a plagiarist, who to use author Dany Laferrière's deliciously withering expression, "lives beyond his intellectual means."

For a guy that never asked to be traded and wanted to stay here sure has said some pretty non-complimentary things about his teammates in MTL lately.

I Attended A Dinner Organized By Max Pacioretti, by Anonymous.

I once attended a dinner party hosted by Captain Max Pacioretti. If I am not mistaken, it was in a duplex somewhere in the vicinity of Sabrevois, where the river becomes intimidatingly wide. Only half of the duplex was rented. The lights were off on the other side.

When I arrived, there was but one 1992 Hondra CRX there in the drive. It was covered in decals from radio stations. There was a Rouyn-Noranda Huskies flag dangling from a bent antenna and key marks along both rear quarter panels.

Inside I could hear Moody Blues louder than I have ever heard Moody Blues. The sound was almost deafening. The songs ripped right through the shoddy duplex walls.

It was a very dim in the foyer, with a faint light only coming from a room further down the hallway. I walked towards it. I was very hungry and eager to meet the hockey team again.

Upon reaching the room, something flew past my temple. It felt like a bird but may have been a wig. My hands groped the wall for lights and found two wire ends which, if rubbed together, created a brief spark. In this crackling twilight, I could see only two men feverishly eating some sort of veal dish and wiping their brows incessantly. There were farfelle noodles in the hair of one and pages from August Strindberg's esteemed novel, By The Open Sea scattered across the filthy linoleum.

"Aren't you famished?" one asked. It was Pierre Dagenais, the legendary shooter.
"Yes" I answered. "I am."
