Christian Wolanin, a Twitter fans fave and analytic community favorite....is close to topping out as Joe corvo from what I've seen.

Will be interesting to see where his career goes. He has some tools, skates well, but so did Joe Corvo.

I question Wolanins mind. Seems like he struggles to make quick decisions and see the ice, but thats just me.

I think a better comparison for Wolanin is Patrick Wiercioch. There was all that talk about his amazing sabermetrics and how he could be better than Karlsson, but anyone who actually watched him play could tell he was he just another mediocre offensive defenceman. But still the stats fetishists loved him.

Wiercioch played last year in the Austrian league.

Since we've shit on him quite a bit this year, I'll say something nice about Mike Reilly. The Suzuki goal was not entirely his fault, since he was sent such a bad pass. And he actually surprised me with some nice plays in OT.

Brady shows up every night. With more skilled linemates he'll be an even more steady producer too. If they can convince him to sign long term, he'll be captain of this team before long.
