GDT: Ugh edition

One step forward, two steps back.

I really hope that new ownership is coming soon so they can hire competent management to oversee the rebuild.

On the brightside, Paul and Chlapik seem decent enough. I don't know why Dorion felt the need to claim Dumont with them in the system. Or sign Thompson for that matter.

I don’t mind Thompson in the bottom 6, but the rest are a mess.

Thompson can skate at least. I think he would have looked good on last years team which played with so much more speed.

Just fire Boucher already. These guys aren’t even trying.

The Senators don't have the budget for a coaching change.

I was going to say just run with Marc Crawford and that other guy, but on second thought keep Boucher.

Send Chabot down, trade what you can and try a rebuild.

It’s been a good run. ~20 years.

What different team on back to back nights. That’s a tough one with a sellout crowd.

At what point are they mathematically eliminated? I’m worried Melnyk, Bouch and Dorion still think they have a chance? They need a couple more losses here quick to close the lid on this season.

I’m a bit worried about Dorion making trades, but if he’s going for younger players at least that’s his bread and butter. I’ll give him that. He can evaluate young players. He’s also in a power position where he holds the cards, unlike the trade deadline when he’s fighting to add players.

If you’re going to fire a coach, tomorrow morning is probably the time to do it.
