Then just do us all a favour, when you feel the need to post something really fucking stupid. Stick on the Devils broad or post on tsn. I'm sure both groups would appreciate that style of posting much more.

Naw, I have none. Which is why you pay the guy so little. If he bounces back he could have some value at the deadline.

Tulo to the Yankees makes me very angry despite it making a huge amount of sense for everyone.

You can enjoy these bargain basement signings like an idiot if you want, I refuse. We have the richest owners in baseball, treating us like the Tampa Bay fucking Rays is unacceptable. This team should be there with the Yankees and Red Sox every year. You guys can be Winners shoppers all you want, I'm a Nordstrom's guy.

It's amazing you still don't understand the implications of having a majority owner that is a publicly traded company.

Oh ok. So that's why MLSE spends money like it's going of style and Rogers sits on their hands.

And neither owns 51% or more of the company so they don't have to declare expenses created by MLSE on their EBT report given to shareholders the way Rogers have to for the Jays.

Dave Shoalts covered this in 2016. It's a thing.

"You say, 'yeah, but they're a billion-dollar company,'" the source said. "But they're a billion-dollar company owned by the shareholders. Shareholders don't want a division that is some ego play for a president of a division or even [Jays chairman] Edward Rogers that will lose $20-million a year."

The more Danny Jansen the better assuming he can handle the workload. Luke Maile as the backup backstop atm.

They're okay, but a long way off. Could be something, likely be nothing. Anyway, 16.4 for Russ and 20M this year for Tulo, great use of finances. Explain that at the shareholders meetings.

We're paying heaps of money to two guys to not be here!

He won’t go to the Cubs since they decided they’ve maxed out on salary. Could change but would make more sense for the Nationals, Yankees, Phillies, White Sox, or Dodgers. Would love to see the Jays act like an actual big market team, though.

Doc's wife says he won't represent any team in the Hall of Fame. Disappointing, the dude signed a one-day contract to retire a Jay and even said an interview that he'd want to wear the Jays cap in the hall.

Shatkins and Rogers fucked it up. So did Phillies ownership. They probably just reach out to them when it's convenient ignore them otherwise. I'd bet my left eye that happened

Definitely seems they're pushing for this out of favouritism for Philly. Also said that this is how 'they' want him to be remembered, which is fucking stupid. Hopefully the hall steps in and makes the right decision here.

When he died they didn't immediately announce the jersey retirement like they should have. Neither did the Phils. And then after he died, maybe they did something the Halladays didn't like. You don't know what's going on behind the scenes. The halladays loved Toronto, all of them. Braeden pitches for Canada because of it. Now all of a sudden, no logo? I said that Shatkins, Rogers and the Phils all fucked up. Not quite sure why you're crying.

Nah, just something about not filling the open wishes of a dude who tragically died seems disturbing to me. He was on record saying he wanted to go in as a Jay as close as 3 months before his death. Maybe he said something behind the scenes but that seems out of character to me.

Well, I'd like to think his wife who he had been with for god knows how long would know better than the rest of us, right? Plus like I said, you never know what the Phillies or Jays did to piss the family off? It's really unfair for anyone to curse the poor woman. When the name Roy Halladay is said, it's synonymous with the Blue Jays, not the Phils.

If we're going to have tinfoil hat theories, maybe the bitch is pissed off at Roy for dieing the way he did and doesn't want to respect his wishes.

PS I think she just liked Philly and the USA better.

Think that's a big factor, along with resentment for other things. I know there was the potential job that Roy was trying to set up with the Jays that ended up falling through, and Brandy was also pretty pissed at how the whole trade situation was dealt with.

Also seems like the Phillies have been very involved with her after his death, she released her statement through them and the Phillies owner was the one who arranged for a private jet to fly her and the boys to the HOF ceremony.

My eyes glaze over all this stuff. Was I disappointed when I heard? Absolutely. You don't have a bluejays heart if you weren't let down.
Do I care a few days after I heard? Nah.
Anytime I think of his face and name, I just have memories of the ace on the mound.

They kick you out for that, by the way. Trust me.

I tried to get kicked out. We were in the Great Hall, 15 minutes before closing, my brother was on the other side of the room when an attendant explained that we'd have to be on our way soon. I asked her to kick me out loudly. She said I'd been very nice, why would she do that ? I told her I wanted my bro to see me getting the bum's rush, but she wouldn't do it. I'm not much of a public masturbator so I just let things go.
