Great play call.
Also, let's keep this thread about Galchenyuk's on-ice performance, development and value and NOT bring in his personal life or race.

Why does Jordan get to do a 1-on-1 with Bryon Russell with the clock ticking but Kawhi gets triple teamed. Was that some triangle offense woowoo or what?

So fucking disappointing. Crushing way to lose and the team is rallying around KD having his achilles destroyed. The GM was friggin crying.... I feel bad for KD, so detrimental to his health and career.

I'm taking a stand on the Kyle Lowry hate. I've had enough of it. All over Twitter he's being mocked. I have ZERO idea why he's held to a different standard than any other NBA player, but it's bullshit. The guy should be revered for what he's become from where he came from.

Kyle Lowry deserves alot of criticism for missing two open threes and turning the ball over in the last 2 minutes. He is still a good player, but he was bad to end the game.

It would be more crushing if Durant didn't tear his Achilles, but that coupled with the fact that the Raptors have two more chances to close this thing out makes it tolerable. They are still the better team and should win this thing in 6ix.

He had a good game yesterday and Draymond got a piece of his final shot which people don't seem to realize.

Seems like that's the direction the players are taking it. Doesn't help that our dumbass fans at the arena and Jurassic Park cheering KD's injury gives them extra fuel, Klay in particular was absolutely heated.

They were all mad. I was heated too. The minute he went down I was like oh fuck. It was obvious right away that he was toast. Of course the fairweather fans in the stadium that can afford those tickets know fucking nothing. The guy waving bye to Durant pissed me off the most.

Do you really believe the Warriors are going to try harder because of this? They were already trying their hardest to win, and this won't change that.

Of course they are trying their hardest, but when teams are so closely matched in talent like this anything can give a little extra push psychologically. There are times where things like this can really rally together a team. I have faith in the Raptors still because they've shown incredible poise and resolve all playoffs but the whole KD thing yesterday left a bad taste in my mouth.

Your point is valid though seeing that many people cheering in unison in both the arena and at Jurassic Park etc was pretty bad, I haven't really seen something quite to that level before around a player injury. Gave a shitty vibe to the rest of the game honestly.

The Warriors have won 4 quarters all series. Without KD and a healthy Klay and Cousins the Raptors are clearly the better squad. Also they are the reason that KD felt pressure to play, not the Raptors. This whole narrative is laughable.

Give me a break LOB... Fan's were cheering the implications of the injury and not the injury itself. Any fan base would have reacted the same, and I'll bet you were happy behind your tv screen too. No KD means a much greater chance of the Raptors winning a title, that is what people are happy about.

Where did I say they weren't cheering the implication? Doesn't make it right to celebrate an injury regardless, that's bad justification. And No I really wasn't celebrating at all, I actually felt bad right away and I wanted us to stop them with KD playing. Plus the fact that he was out for so long and all the reports said he was looking questionable to even play this series should've cued people in that if he went down like that it was probably pretty serious.

This is the NBA Finals in a close out game, fans are going to cheer for anything that helps their team win. You should not have expected any different.
