Cody Eakin literally just lost the series for his team.

And as I say that Vegas scores the tying goal with under a minute.

That’s one way to describe having no balls.

Know who else lacks balls? (besides me of course)

Carolina Canes vs. NY 'Ders has to be the biggest wet fart of a second round series in history. Who wants to watch these dogshit clubs? Not even their own cities. It's 30th vs. 28th in league attendance. :rudy:

Some around here want Trots to kill the fun in Toronto too. I can just picture the wailing and rending of garments when the old dog has our $11 million dollar talent playing 1-1-3 and has their every movement on the ice prescribed while spending practices working on puck pursuit and puck battles. And just wait until his awesome assistants get exactly the same PK results as our terrible ones. If you think Babs is about “playing heavy” and loves his plumbers, wait until Trots wants Leo back and demands Dubas get Casey Cizikas so he can play them 14:00 instead of Marleau.

Fucking Zardoz will be lying in a pool of really boring jizz.

I’ll probably give the Premiership another chance, remember they’re pussies and end up watching hurling or Gaelic football.

Btw, I like Babs. Don't like the fuss right now. Hope they ride out the storm.
I like our breakout system, wish we could forecheck a bit heavier, but whatever, team is good. Just another year.

I cannot stand our breakout system, though Matthews was doing Tavares-like things with his support down low for his defencemen in the playoffs. More of that. Use the stretch pass but mix in other support to take that space that defending the stretch pass opens up.

The other main issue we have is breaking up cycles. Man do we suck. Our wingers are awful and only Muzzin can stop cycles consistently. I feel like I’m watch Carlyle accordion shit out there sometimes.

Season is over because the goalie was shit in game 7. Everyone needs to bring it. Last year Gardiner was the bum who cost us, this year was Andersen.

Just some bad luck, is all.

I really don’t think Andersen is the reason that we’re not still playing.

I really like how Torts has these jackets playing. Interesting mix of skill and grit.
Also, Harrington is pretty good, eh? Who knew!
Savard is a nice D.

I was thinking that about Harrington watching them a little while back. Oh well. I guess we got some nondescript AHL minutes from Rychel and a couple of heady days of dreaming Pleks wouldn’t suck for him.

Not THE reason, just the biggest one. That first goal was just terrible and cannot go in in game 35 of the season, especially game 89.

I get that Freddy was great, held us in most games, flat-out won others, and even went on to make some great saves in that same game, but that first goal cannot go in the net, period.

It's way more of a factor than Matthews and Marner playing nearly equal minutes.

45 shots combined in the NY/CAR game that ended 2-1. Is there a way both boring ass teams can be eliminated for crimes against entertainment? The NHL has to be hoping neither one of them gets through to the final.

Game of Thrones last night was insane. Few TV shows get me to say things out loud, but this one def. got a "no fucking way!" from me.

Edge of my seat. More exciting than 2019 Leafs\Bruins game 6 and 7 that's for sure.

Those people are idiots

It’s a Toronto tradition to lionise 4th liners and want them to play significant minutes and simultaneously crucify solid players asked to do too much.

I'm officially on the St. Louis bandwagon. There are lots of interesting stories if they win. They've been waiting as long as us, minus one year. They were the worst team in the NHL on January 2nd, and then the best team in hockey from January 3rd on. Binnington coming out of nowhere to play like a stud. Plus, it'd be nice to see Bozie Bozak win it.
