I hate baseball guys. These extreme shifts are ruining the game, but the players can change that by learning to bunt and push the ball down the left side. They're giving you the whole field. The fact that players haven't started to do that on the regular is the worst thing in baseball. Practice bunting you cuntings.

I’m all aboard with this. The Jays have collapsed and I’m just not interested right now.

Caught a couple of New Hampshire Fisher Cats games on the weekend, but missed Guerrero's 4-4, game-winning home run, effort by a day. Shucks.

Vlad is hitting the crap out of that ball right now and looks strong like an ox. In spite of the numbers, he is not perfect yet. Saw him swing at a few bad pitches and he had one three-pitch strikeout. This happens to everyone, but it makes sense to keep this guy in AA for another month or two.

Bichette is slumping. Fishing for bad pitches all the time, maybe struggling a bit with breaking balls that don't come as often at A-ball. His fielding looks very good though.

He swung at a few bad pitches, so he's not ready to be called up. Every hitter, in the history of baseball, has struck out on three pitches that they shouldn't have. He's hitting 420.....500 this month. He's ready for at least a AAA promotion. Or let them all stay in AA and win the title there

A 19 year old hit a 3-run HR in his first MLB at bat.

Add Juan Soto to your list, AZ.

I just found out that for Vlad to burn off a year of his 6 years he would need to play a full season which is defined as 172 days. Thus, bringing him up now would not mean that we lose Vlad a year early. So add me to the call up Vlad Jr. bandwagon.

And play him where? The kids defense needs work and to get that work in he needs reps everyday at 3rd not rotating around.

Play him at DH, and give him two days a week at 3B to give Donaldson a rest. There is also practice where most of his development defensively is going to come anyways. I would call him up to AAA, and if the bat continues for two weeks I'd call him up permanently.

Like AZ said, third when Donaldson needs rest. Doesn't matter what we think though, it's not going to happen.

I hope it doesn't happen. The kid has played a grand total of 188 games at 3rd in the last 2+seasons. He needs reps everyday at 3rd, not rotating around 3rd/1st/lf/whatever plus some practice there. He needs to be there everyday if he's going to stick.

I don't really care if Vlad Jr. sticks at 3B, and I'm skeptical if that is even the best move for the Jays long term as he projects as average at best there. The bat will play anywhere and that is what I am most interested in.

And if the Jays are most interested in giving Vladdy every chance to prove he can stick at 3rd base? It was obviously a huge sticking point for him when he signed that he wanted to stay at 3rd and while it's possible, it does seem like he hasn't changed his mind much as he's still on the corner.

“Vladdy had always identified himself with Canada. He has very good memories about it. Every time you speak with him about Canada, you could see his eyes light up.”

Watching his mother in conversation with Anthopoulos in French may have been a turning point in striking a deal.

“She speaks fluent French and she was very proud that her son had a Canadian and Quebec birth certificate,” said Anthopoulos.

3-for-4 with another home run. Now slashing .435/.485/.726/1.211 and in his last 28 games it's .505/.546/.857/1.403.

At this point he's graduated from video game numbers to alien numbers.

Despite my desire to see him live, and the potential ticket sales that would accompany his promotion, I don't know if I want him around this disaster of a team for too long.

Late June is my guess. I think he is going to get the AAA callup next week and if he continues to tear it up there he will be called up soon after.
