Okay? Why Brown is scratched is beyond me. Have to imagine he must be injured.

Why can't Hyman, Komarov or Martin ever get hurt?

Probably from carrying the team on his back.

He got played against pretty hard over this road trip though so perhaps he has some bumps and bruises from that.

He competes for every puck in the corners, plays low in his own end, is generally the primary zone entry puck carrier. Dude is getting hit a lot.

Be nice if others followed his example.

Nylander is so snakebitten right now. Wide open cage and he still couldn't hit it.

Hyman put himself in that situation but it is kind of crazy that the defenceman will steer the opposing player into taking out his own goalie just for the penalty.

Andersen is reaching new lows. He just got beat by Deryk Engelland with an open wrist shot from the top of the circle.

Fred ended that game strongly. He looked dialled in there in the third, OT, and the SO.

Marner in particular is suffering from this. He's just not even trying the stuff he was doing last year. It's a travesty because he was so fun to watch last year.

I will always assume he's injured. Lower body.

Not playing very well is a helluva drug.

They've been a bit more consistent shift to shift the last 2 games. Here's hoping it's a rising tide of confidence.
