Just read about his "tough" situation. Was told he was the #4 guy on a Calder Cup team and claimed he wasn't going to be even competing for playing time, still got 3 starts (1W - 2L). Boo fucking hoo.

Only in Toronto will someone find dirt like this. Lou has the interviews so locked down, reporters need to go after other teams.

I hope they shell him and he's on the pine in the first.

Stalock is angry at the Leafs because he was so bad in San Jose that they felt they needed an upgrade on him, and they also insisted that he be included in the deal to clear out a contract. The guy is a fucking idiot.

Zaitsev is having a bad game. Blind behind the back clearing pass and a suicide pass to Marner.

Leaf games have been few scoring chances for either team and whoever gets the lucky bounce wins.

Seriously. This lack of a breakout is dogshit.

Marner has to chip to the redline because there is no option and they turn it over for Minny to score.

Watching the Leafs hasn't been fun for over a month now. Given the tough schedule coming up I wouldn't be surprised if this is the beginning of a prolonged losing streak.

Komarov can fuck right off but it’s not his fault Babcock plays him 18 minutes a fucking night. Babs what the fuck are you doing? You’ve sucked the creativity out of one of the most dynamic offensive teams last year.

Leo looks finished. Thanks for 2015-2016, dude, but there's no metric, basic or advanced, that suggests he should be playing a regular shift.

Especially not when Leivo is one-man-showing his own good scoring chances.

The team was runnin an gunnin with the best of them at the start of the season, but thats not playoff hockey or how you win championships.

The creativity isn't gone, they need balance and they can afford to lose and learn right now.

You don't win championships playing on your heels for 40 minutes a night either.

I would buy that this is training for the playoffs if we were playing our young guys a lot. But we're not. It's not practice, it's risk aversion.

Babcock has been pretty consistant that he's not happy with the pond hockey the Leafs play. With Lou, Trapcock, and Jacque around, I'm surprised it took this long. They are done stroking the kid's egos, time to man up. They aren't going to play the kids in the playoffs, they are going to play the players that rise to the top.
