Everytime I say a game is going to be unwatchable the Leafs usually end up winning in impressive fashion, so here goes, this game is going to be unwatchable and I probably won't watch it.

My sister decided this year that she wanted to get into hockey. I was pumped because last year was such a huge step forward for fans from what we've been subjected to for a long time. I feel bad for her because there's not much to get excited about so far this season, though at least it allowed her to choose Andersen as her favourite player.

It's Philly, they're an entertaining team so at least it will be more fun to watch than the San Jose and St. Louis grindfests. Unless of course we get blown out lol.

Looking forward to Babcock matching Matthews against the Flyers’ best line and having a good old fashioned shootout.

That's nuts. I've got nothing against the Big E but a ceremony that'll run over an hour long? The league needs to draw a line somewhere.

Lindros will spend the hour wishing he had played his entire career in Toronto instead of having to play for that asshole Bobby Clarke.

Lol, not sure the folks concerned about Babs' lines will be happy about Brown taking Willy's minutes. I love it.

Would love for Willy to pick his game up though. Take some ownership and start firing some pucks. He defers to Matts way to often (with good reason, but still)

There was a play where Bozak was directing which player the dman should cover by pointing. Bozak then goes to cover that player when he was already taken.

I don't think the team has been that bad tonight. They've looked pretty good, Fred has looked fantastic. Just their breakdowns have been really, really bad. And so far in the third they've come out on the wrong end of play.

Bozak's line has been just dogshit tonight.

I'm still seeing us consistently bang it off the glass to break out while the opponent has 2-3 passes before the red line and seems to be constantly breaching our zone in control

Seemed to be not as bad earlier in the game. This period it's been awful. At least they're shooting the puck and looking like they're getting into dangerous areas of the ice tonight. That's an improvement over lately.

That was nice of Matthews to start the Flyers' rush for them. Someone please tell this team that possession is king in overtime. That behind the back pass had zero upside and a whole lot of downside.

Dumb play by Matthews, followed by atrocious defensive IQ from Gardiner as he fails to take away the pass.

Matthews actually doesn't touch the puck there. He misses his pass, which would have gone pretty much where Willy was hanging out at the far post. I don't really know how much flak I want to give Matthews for that.

That goal is on Gardiner as far as I'm concerned. Though moving forward I'd hope players start taking Couturier instead of the puck carrier because you can't trust Jake to play the pass.

To preface, the Dman needs to direct traffic.

Second. If Matthews doesn't whiff and Willy buries, no one says that was a bad play.

On that OT goal, a guy at the athletic seems to think it's all on Jake. I'm not buying that. Willy starts the back check beside Couturier. Why Willy decided Jake couldn't handle a 1 on 1 and stick with Cout, I'll never know.

Jake did no favours hanging in no man's land. But why skate across the width of the ice to cover someone that Jake was there for?

I'm sour at all of them. Each line and Dman spent time sucking. Only Freddy gets a pass .
