Excellent block by Brown in the dying seconds. Much needed win.

Brassard would get his chin checked on that broken stick throw.

Great comeback. Good response

It feels good to get a W in Sandy McTire's barn.

That might as well have been a home game.

Also, I kinda wish they did the first half in home whites and the second half/playoffs in colors. If anything you may sell a couple more jerseys.

I know his sv% wasn't great last night but I didn't really think Freddie played poorly on any of those goals. Pyatt and Hoffman went top shelf with great shots and Polak's stick was jammed in Fred's pad on that weird angle goal from Karlsson.

It's almost like he's sending a message that they will keep banging their heads off a wall until they show they will play the style of hockey he wants when he wants it. There's nothing to shuffle around except the give-a-fuck meter by the players. Andersen didn't call out coaching, he called out effort levels. For a reason.

So many people tried to interpret what Freddy said as him calling out the coaching. I think it was 100% directed at his teammates.

I definitely think Andersen was talking about the players. My post about Babs not being more adventurous with the line combinations is entirely independent of Andersen's comments.

They were, but I believe Babs has no interest in seriously shuffling lines until he gets the effort level he wants. Until then players can get fucked until they figure who's going to be a Leaf long term.

How archaic of him to believe there's an emotional and interpersonal element to making a team better.
