The Postal Service last month abruptly ordered its police officers to stop investigating mail theft that occurs away from post office property, the Postal Police Officers Association alleged Monday, suing Postmaster General Louis DeJoy to block a change they say could erode the safety of mail carriers and delivery.

We could have had Bernie or Warren or to a lesser extent Yang, Harris or Booker but we somehow ended up with this decrepit weirdo. What a stunningly embarrassing situation.

Currently at 24% chance according to 538, but don't let that ruin the weird aura of invincibility Americans put on Trump for some reason.

I like 538 because they try to temper their ratings in light of the uncertainty of the whole election during a pandemic thing. I think everyone else has Trump about 10% less likely to win.

Bloomberg says he's gonna spend 100 million in Florida against Trump. That's a heckuva lot of money in one state.

ya places like florida and texas, probably the best you can do is make it extremely close. Actually Florida is pretty contested usually so who knows, if they get people to vote it'll be the biggest driver.

flip the other battlegrounds that hillary lost in the tossup and its GG anyway

Biden is up 2 points in Florida right now, it's definitely a realistic target. He's down 3.6% in Texas, so probably not taking that one unless there's a big across the board shift away from Trump. That would take an impeachment, or human-rights violations, or incompetence leading to 200k dead Americans or credible accusations from a porn star or something.

Biden just needs to go to Florida and denounce Obama’s policy of opening relations with Cuba without strings attached was a mistake and won’t be repeated. It is a small issue that no one outside of Florida will care about, but would go a long way to sure up the vote there. Trump is actually doing well among Latino’s here because he has been able to tie Biden to that policy as VP and the Latino vote here is basically Cuban, Venezuelan and Colombian refugees.

That was probably one of the biggest factor between Obama winning the state in ‘12 and Hilary losing in 16 given the razor thin margins Florida produces state wide. Biden has already cut into Trump’s senior vote down here (turns out old people don’t like to die from a pandemic).

AZ+MI+MN. They'll need 4 of MT NC CO ME IA GA(x2) on top of that to get the senate though. Leading in CO, NC, and toss-ups in MT IA 1xGA. My guess is they end up falling short but it's pretty impressive that they're making a race of it. Some tough states in that mix

As someone who has been to Pittsburgh about a dozen times, this checks out. The outskirts of the city are basically the deep south.
