ya I googled it and there is a thread on SlickDeals talking about it

apparently its only 60hZ? but on the Best Buy site it says 120 motion rate

regardless, it looks to be online only and I hate buying TVs without seeing them in person first

Says $1100 on my phone.

The 50 inch version for 500 seems like a good deal too. I bought a 32 inch Vizio about 5 or 6 years ago for $300 and its holding up perfectly but I’m looking to move this summer and need a new TV for my living room

ya, you have to be logged into your best buy account to see the $750 price

Might just take a ride Thurs night/Friday morning to BB or Sam's. my girlfriend's dad got a really nice LG 65'' for like $900 at Sam's last year on black Friday and there was not many people there at all

Ours is a Kenmore manufactured by LG apparently. If we can’t fix it we’re getting a Speed Queen. Who knew that was even a brand..lol

By reading the consumer report, the Speed Queen is basically a commercial laundry mat machine. Quality built, no bells or whistles, fast cycles, long warranty, but noisy, and expensive.

Speed Queen was recommended by our local appliance repair shop. They basically said it's the only brand that's worth a damn build wise. What stinks is my wife can't handle mismatched appliances so when one is done it means we get 2..lol.

Why an i5 cpu over an i7? Does it not matter for games since you got a top end GPU?

The 8th generation i5 8600k is essentially equivalent to the 7th generation i7 7700k in terms of speed, with 6 cores and no hyperthreading in the i5 vs 4 cores and hyperthreading in the i7 7700k. I wanted compatibility to upgrade to the 8th generation i7 in a few years if I wanted to, while still having a high speed processor now. I felt that getting the 8th gen i7 now was overkill since basically all games these days are gpu limited, and the extra $100 would be better spent on the GTX 1080 over the 1070.

I forgot to ask. Would that build play Project Cars 2 with every setting on or whatever it’s called when all the graphics are enabled?

After seeing how much room Destiny 2 takes up, I decided to buy another ssd to give me a total of 512 gb. Going to put them in raid 0 to get extra speed as well.

I just bought a 55" LG OLED for $1318 after tax using my Dell employee discount. I can't fit a 65" in our TV unit which was a bummer as that's the one I wanted.

Price per SKU $18.95
Price per movie $15.73
Lowest price paid $3.86 (X-Men Origins: Wolverine)
Highest price paid $109.99 (Bourne: The Ultimate Collection 4K)

Ya, but you're not supporting filmmakers this way. I only buy movies I like, unless they're cheap enough to buy over rent. But now I'm pirating those more. If I end up liking the movie, I'll go and buy it to support the filmmaker and the people who worked on it.

If I bought movies I genuinely liked and would watch again I wouldn’t be spending much money. I’ve been deleting some movies from my Plex environment lately and it’s not about space..I figure if no one wants to watch it fuck it, I’ll shoot it into space

I never use digital codes lol. I have no idea why. I just hate watching my stuff on smaller screens.

I use them cause I'm lazy and when I want to watch a movie I just load up Vudu on my ps4 or cast it from my phone to my tv. But I still like owning physical media. Best of both worlds.

Digital copies aren't just for computers and phones like they originally were.

Can't imagine they make much. You can generate a digital version of a movie from a physical copy for $2 on Vudu.
