Football: Are two points still pointless?

At least it worked out for the Oilers.

Sherman is going on and on about how he tore his Achilles but hasn't really gotten medical treatment. Isn't that weird?

don't believe it's necessarily an indication for surgery, especially depending how much of a tear it is

If you took a team composed of only the players that are out for the season and suddenly gave them their health back, they’d be double digit road favorites against every other NFL team

There’s a stud at every position. You’d even have Dan a Bailey at kicker too.

Maybe someone with a brain will realize having Thursday night games is detrimental to the players health instead of preaching players safety with no backbone.

Also, the players need to realize the amount of contact limited in the preseason is partially the reason so many players get banged up early in the year. Their bodies go from basically no contact to full contact rather quickly and their bodies don’t adjust. As a result, things happen in the early weeks and then linger over the entire season.

Also having football games accessible literally 7 days a week is bad for viewership.

The turnover chain is one of the best things to happen to Miami in quite some time.

Wasn’t Pat not a fan of the Richt hiring?

I feel like Notre Dame -3 is too easy of a pick. High % of bets are on them too. Means Miami probably wins this one.

Feel so bad for Janarion Grant. Was a dynamic, sure fire bet to be an NFL draft pick at least for kick return ability. Then he destroyed his ankle last year and his been trash this season besides a big run against Michigan. Not sure he makes an NFL squad anymore which is a real shame.

Penn State as 31 point favorites just resorted to a hook and ladder and then an onside kick. Should have saved that trickery for the big 10 championship or the playoffs.

Oh wait

After this, I’d probably go:

3. Oklahoma
4. Clemson

The real chaos will happen if Bama loses to Auburn or Georgia in the SEC Championship, Clemson wins the ACC championship and Wisconsin wins out. Does a one loss SEC team get in over a one loss Miami?

You’d have:

1. Wisconsin
2. Oklahoma
3. Clemson
4. Miami/Alabama/Georgia

In that scenario, of those three teams (plus potential 2-loss Auburn) whichever team wins the SEC championship gets in

The Bears got stopped half a yard short of the end zone. They challenge it and claimed he got in. Refs took a look and said not only did he come up short, he fumbled out of the end zone and gave the Packers the ball

Chargers picked off Bortles under 2 mins left. Essentially game over.

they run it and fumble it and the JAgs pick it up and run it back for a TD
