GDT: Cats @ Drats

At least it worked out for the Oilers.

I predicted we’d be as high on Boyle as Hayes (I know, I reallywent out on a limb there) but my fire is reserved for Moore. I hate him as much as Lovejoy.

At least Moore scores sometimes. Those other guys just kind of exist. I guess we need MarJo and Zajac back so these guys go back to where they belong.

Blake Coleman led our forwards in ice time

Hayes only played 9 minutes so maybe he sits tomorrow

Trocheck played nearly 27 minutes for Florida lol what the hell

I like Boyle. Having him and Zajac as our 3/4 center is going to be killer for the PK and defending late game leads. I know he's slow but it's fine for 10 minutes a night. He's also a smart enough of a hockey player that he doesn't get caught out of position despite his lack of speed.

I do wonder what the rotation is going to be once Trav and MarJo are back. Coleman has really settled into a defensive role. Hayes brings a little more skill but is slow as molasses. Wood has blazing speed but isnt the smartest of players. Gibbons is pesky. And Noesen kind of exists. I assume he and Prout go away. Still leaves one more. Wouldn't be shocked to see Zacha go to the AHL at this point. Work on his confidence, work ethic, and scoring.

I don't dislike Boyle as much as I dislike having him on the power play. I get that it's because Johansson and Zacha aren't playing, but still. Hynes is kind of a goof with his deployments of players.

I think we need another C, both Henrique and Zacha are better as wings. Tavares 18.

To be fair, the fans reciprocate those feelings.
