At least it worked out for the Oilers.

If Foles doesn’t shit himself, I could totally see them winning but there’s no way I’m betting against Brady again. It’ll be like 38-27 or something

I mean, on paper, the Eagles match up with the Pats pretty well at most positions but I said the same thing about Atlanta last year. I definitely don’t see the Eagles collapsing if they get a big lead like Atlanta did tho. Their defense is too good for that to happen

Everyone* matches up well with the Pats on paper until they start playing scared with a lead on offense and suddenly can’t stop drag routes to Amendola/Edelman on every play

*except the Giants and Broncos

the Jags DID match up well with the Patriots. Just because they lost in a close game doesn't change that fact. I never claimed the Jags would win.

Five stages of grief

-denial: earlier this season, people were saying Brady was done
-anger: the league is rigged. No penalties on the Patriots
-bargaining: Jags +7 for 100 bucks
-depression: patriots are ruining football
-acceptance: Brady wins his 6th

At this point teams should just be gearing up for life after Belichick and Brady

That’s why I want Denver to draft a QB instead of signing Cousins. Develop Rosen/Darnold/Mayfield/Jackson and start building your team up so three, four years from now when the AFC is wide open you’re set up for elongated success

Belichick has shown more emotion during this run then ever before. I don’t think he will, but I also wouldn’t be shocked if he retires after this year.

Hes no dummy. He’s going to lose both coordinators and have a 41 year old QB with no real contingency plan. Back to back super bowls and leaving the Patriots in a bit of a mess (to no fault of his own) basically sets them up for a subpar year. That would mean an ego stroke.

Logic suggests it could happen. I don’t think it will, but it would be pretty hilarious to see them both leave the patriots in shambles. I would crown them both heroes in that case because they’d probably go 4-12 right off the bat

It’s going to be great watching their fans cling to this dynasty long after it’s ended. They’re gonna be the Habs of the NFL

56% completion percentage for his career. In the Mountain West. and barely a 2:1 TD:INT ratio

I still don't understand the hype around this guy. QBs just don't magically become more accurate at the NFL level.

Stats are kind of meaningless in college ball. It’s really all eye test. Tim Tebow completed nearly 70% of his passes in college and had a 6:1 TD to INT ratio playing in a stacked SEC. Everyone knew he couldn’t throw the ball in the pros.

Hell, Sam Darnold completed a little over 60% with a 2:1 ratio in a soft PAC. All teams in the top 5 are begging for him to fall.

I should add that I’m also skeptical of Allen but I don’t think the stats really matter.
