Yeah, we get to do this again with these Manhattan fucktards but in Pittsburgh.

Possible Line-Up
(Subject to immense retardation by Head Coach Dan Bylsma)

Iginla, Malkin, Neal
Kunitz, Jokinen, Dupuis
Morrow, Sutter, Cooke
Glass, Jeffrey, Adams

Orpik, Niskanen
Murray, Engelland
Despres, Eaton

Trade Deadline Recap for Shero's moves
 • Morrow has 0pts, Joe Nieuwendyk finally ripped us off, fuck you Joe.
 • Murray has more points than Morrow as a Penguin.
 • Iginla has 1 goal with the Pens, Bylsma continues to use him on his off wing and it looks bad, Jarome is likely wondering why he said no to Boston at this point in time.
 • Jokinen was just recently acquired for depth at C because it took Shero a shit load of time to realize TK, Jeffrey, and Sutter can't do shit all for offensive support.

Injury Report
 • Crosby broke his jaw taking a widly inaccurate shot by Orpik (is there any other kind from this guy?) - Out indefinitely
 • Letang out 7-10 days with a broken foot or a lower body injury, seriously, the Pens recyle that last one all the time, who the fuck knows, all we know is that he's out and our defense sucks right now
 • Paul Martin had his hand amputated and transplanted with a robotic hand, fap time will suffer but recovery time will not. Is out indefinitely with an upper body injury, Pens sure love those terms don't they? Our defense really sucks without him.

I thought the Sabres game was the bad game and today was going to be the day the Pens rebounded, but no...I am not all that optimistic about the Friday game at this point. Jokinen flies in tomorrow and hopefully gets a practice in with the team and the line-up is adjusted. Because seriously, I am tired of Bylsma's shit right now.

The line-up should be this.

Morrow, Malkin, Neal
Kunitz, Jokinen, Iginla
Cooke, Sutter, Dupuis
Glass, Vitale, Kennedy

Sit Jeffrey and Adams.

I don't care if Kunitz-Crosby-Dupuis is the best line, when you get Iginla, you make room for him on THAT FUCKING LINE, when healthy. Dupuis can play virtually everywhere else, Iginla is a RW'er and the only logical spot for him is that 1st line RW spot with Sid. Him being on the left wing is just a tragedy, especially when he's trying to find chemistry with Malkin and it's just not there. Morrow works better there, because he's a meat head type of player that just crashes the crease and battles in front of the net the entire time he's in the offensive zone so Neal and Geno can dangle around and he screens.

Friday, I want to see the lines I posted above.

Some updates on Crosby, Eaton, Letang, and Martin (sort of for the last 2).

Sidney Crosby had an outpatient dental procedure in Pittsburgh on Wednesday, an anticipated follow-up from his surgery to repair a broken jaw, his agent Pat Brisson said.
There remains no timetable for Crosby's return, mostly because of the uncertain nature of his recovery — an infection could delay his return. Crosby has gone four days without concussion symptoms since taking a puck to the mouth during the Penguins' home win over the New York Islanders on Saturday.
There are no symptoms of post-operative infection, and Crosby remains in good spirits, Brisson said.
Coach Dan Bylsma did not offer an update regarding Crosby's health.

• Bylsma also did not offer details about the recoveries of defenseman Kris Letang (broken toe) and defenseman Paul Martin (broken bone in hand). Letang has skated numerous times this week, and his return could be imminent. Along with the toe injury, he has been dealing with a sore groin for the past few weeks. Martin remains a possibility to return when the postseason starts.

• Defenseman Mark Eaton was not in the lineup against the Rangers on Wednesday at Madison Square Garden. Eaton was not feeling well during the Penguins' 4-1 loss against the Sabres on Tuesday, prompting the Penguins to leave the veteran in Pittsburgh. Eaton has surprised many with his play since being signed in February, and the coaching staff has been pleased with his penalty killing.

• Defenseman Robert Bortuzzo finally made it back into the lineup Wednesday. He had not played an NHL game since Feb. 28. Bortuzzo played three games during March in a conditioning assignment in Wilkes-Barre.

• Root Sports Pittsburgh's broadcast of the Penguins-Buffalo game Tuesday generated a 15.01 rating, according to Nielsen Media Research. About 450,300 local television viewers tuned into the broadcast, which was the eighth-highest rated Penguins regular-season game in Root Sports Pittsburgh history.

I don't like the whole "Letang returning is imminent" crap. That groin problem could end up nagging him if he doesn't get it sorted, remember Orpik and Kunitz 2yrs ago? Letang is a huge part of the Pens overall game (transition, offense, defense, etc) but I would not rush him right now. Even if the transition game is shit.

Shero forgot to get help in case those two get hurt again (Martin & Letang). Getting more forwards wasn't the right move I think, I like Jokinen but I would have gone after a rental mediocre pmd.

We possibly could have snagged Ryan Whitney or the like, but with all that we gave away already we don't have much in the way of picks to sacrifice.

I'm not fond of bringing back players who we've parted with (especially ones that were as useless as Whitney was in his final half-season with us), but he'd help our transition game a lot with Letang and Martin out.

I know Whits wanted to come back, but his skating is so limited, he'd be a liability, I think his skating is worse than Murray's and his is just above average. Whitney is still a 40pt defenseman though, he just needs to work on getting his speed back after those hollow heel surgeries he had.

Watch that, to see how inept Rob Rossi is, I mean we know he's a fucktard, but man...even the players fuck with the idiot. You know you suck when Paul Steigerwald knows more hockey than you do, go sit down, shut the fuck up and never write about the Pens ever again, Rob Rossi.

I wanted to reiterate the Goligoski thing. He's the only other PMD that the team has developed that was worth anything outside of Letang. Whitney was just, yeah, he sucked defensively at times but stepped his game up in the playoffs, Goose was a lot like Paul Martin, very quiet defensively and you didn't notice that part of his game but man could he fly up the ice and he's better at Letang with that on average. I like the trade now and will in the future, but I still hate that we lost Goose. I am really hoping someone in the system turns out to be a clone of his pmd style but with even better defense.

I really want to see if the Pens sign Nick D'Agostino.

Jokinen with 1g + 1a and Iginla with a 3pt night.

I think it's time to part ways with Jeffrey after this season, the kid is good but he just does not fit this team's system. I know he's going to be a damn solid top 6 player somewhere else, a 2nd/3rd line C at worst. If I were him, I would talk to Ray and figure that shit out in the summer. Teams I would target would be - Calgary and Winnipeg.

Torts has to be the whiniest coach in the NHL.

When his team gets a penalty: Dejected look on his face like it's a bs call, chirps the refs, whines.
When the other team gets a call: Not a peep.

I mean the odd call that's bad, sure that reaction is warranted but his reaction is like that for EVERY penalty.

It took 2 shitty losses to get this effort back.

Great shift by Morrow.

4th line is Glass, Adams, Kennedy.

Why would you bench Vitale? Holy shit the love affair with Adams continues. Please retire after this season, Adams.

Folks over at boreds think Morrow is slow and shitty. They're using him like Matt Cooke/Tyler Kennedy, methinks when you misuse a player, you aren't going to get what you think you are with him.

It's like, remember when those same clowns said Morozov sucked balls because he was on the 4th line most of the time? Right.
