Never want to hear our fanbase bitch about front runners again. 75% of our fanbase right now hasn't paid attention since 2010.

Our viability of a fanbase depends on attracting some of the frontrunning asshole sports fans of Columbus who alternate between being Bengals/Browns/Steelers/Bears, Reds/Indians/Pirates/Cubs fans depending on who's winning.

When the franchise has been that bad for that long, that's what they have to deal with. Oh well.

Come join us.

Well, the Pens are the best case scenario.

@rayferrarotsn 9m

@Aportzline easy to poke holes in Fleury, Aaron, as your team gets ready for its 5th playoff game in their history

Did Ray Ferraro even win a playoff series in his NHL career?

You guys got tickets to any of the games?

How much you pay?

Six for Wednesday, sec. 218- $80 a pop. Lucky to get them, too - started checking the sites about 11 Friday, couple of hours after they went on sale, and there wasn't much to be found.

Nope.

Love the rebound. We looked like the Sabres during the first period, got it together, and won.

Gutsy win.

Long time coming. eh?

I like how this bunch doesn't appear to be intimidated at all.

Going with friends today. 4 tickets for 202 at 80 bucks a pop. Taking my dear old mother Wednesday. 2 tickets 80 bucks a pop. All stubhub.

118 seemed to be the Pens fans section tonight. Naturally, I was seated there.

I'm not nearly as disappointed with last night's loss as I would have been, pre-Saturday night.

This bunch has now won a playoff game, and shown that they can take the Pens in a series. Major emotional plateau, for me ...

That said, looking forward to going tomorrow night.

Had a few above you too, in 218 ... nice watching them slink out afterwards. though.

I'm not the richest dude around town - I recall sitting there mid-first thinking of the things I could have done with what those seats cost, as the Pens and their fans whoop up a 3-0 lead. But funny how that turned around. Best game ever at beautiful downtown Nationwide Arena, and I was there.

These guys aren't fucking around.

Now I have all summer to stock up on CBJ casino stories. Almost got to deal to Corey Tropp yesterday, but he was done as I was coming into the table.

Nathan Horton left up 20k the other day and tells other players he's in stocks when asked. :nice:

Gretzky as president of the Caps, and hiring Doug MacLean as GM?

Posted: Wed May 21, 2014 6:46 pm
by Captain Roy Bringus
Sadly, probably won't come to fruition but it'd be hilarious.

Some people are capable of learning from their mistakes and deserve another shot (Howson). Maclean doesn't seem like the type that can learn anything. From what I see of him on Sportsnet, he's still the same dbag who once said he wouldn't trade the Columbus roster for Detroit's.

He helped set up hockey here and promptly set it back 25 years because he had no idea how to be a general manager. It's sad.

I sure loved the Philadelphia media trying to bait Hartnell into trying to trash Hartnell today.

Sorry man, Umberger's terrible. That player you're worried Hartnell will decline to? Umberger's at that point already. :(

Hartnell may not be as good as he was without Giroux and all that. He may be on the downside of his career.

Umberger, though, is 2 years into his downslide already. I don't see him turning it around again in Philly.

Hartnell, Dubinsky, and Foligno. That's a meat grinder for a lot of teams to face when the CBJ are on the ice.

I don't think Umberger will be as bad as he was for you guys. Meanwhile, I think Hartnell will be a perfect fit, given the game the BJs play

I can't warn you enough about optimism over Umberger. He's where odd man rushes go to die.

Dealer who has no idea who Horton is: "So, what brings you to Columbus?"

"Sometimes I wonder."

I've seen Horton, Tropp, and Calvert.

I have confirmed appearances from Wiz, Tyutin (who gets smashed up drunk), and Dubinsky.

Nice jackets! Having a wide collection of :spam: bought from a reputed store online. Pleased with the reasonable prices and unique collection offered by them. There is no duplicity in clothing. Planning to buy some fantastic clothing to gift my best friend on her birthday.
