Was really surprised by that, to be honest. Why is Bordeleau still in the lineup? McCormick is the guy who would be mixing it up for Minny right? McLeod can deal with him if needed.

I was impressed more with the Avalanche play for a whole game in it's loss in game 6 than in the games it won.

McGinn is a guy who is expendable, but would hate to see him go. Perfect 3rd liner if you want some offense, but willing to bang around the boards and on the forecheck. Not out of place when put on the 2nd line because of injury issues. Would much rather get rid of PAP, which is probably inevitable.

Reasons I hate the NBA: there was 9.7 seconds left in the Raps game with 4:30 left in the Avs 1st period. There is now 4.9 seconds left at the end of the period.

Seriously though, I think this playoffs has priced him off of our team. He's been fantastic.

He was playing injured.

Overall, I am upset & angry. However, as a fan this season surpassed my wildest expectation. The Wild were a team with depth and overall defence. Our team needs to improve its defence and significantly. Great post season by Stastny, Mack, EJ and despite tonight's play, Varly. Duchene was good as was RoR.

This team clearly has some fat to trim this offseason (Cliche, PaP...) and needs to gain someone with more playoff experience. I can see why Roy may have targeted Borque.

We weren't going to win the cup and while going deeper into the playoffs would have been great learning experience for the team it is already quite evident who they need to keep, what they need to improve on and what they need to build on.

Now off to cry in the corner.

Hejda had two broken fingers apparently.

Guenin shouldn't be more than the #8 guy next year. So bad.

I disagree with the notion EJ had a great postseason. I thought he had a really sub-par series.

Also, benching Hishon was a dumb move.

Maybe I am too hopped up on the emotions of the night. I thought he did great the first 2 games and shutting down Parise and I look over to see Parise has 10 points.... so, yea, maybe I overrated that one haha.

Either way, I am just happy overall with this team. It sucks and sucks hard we couldn't close out tonight. :(

Hey, good season. Bunch of fun overtime games in the playoffs. They came up one shot short.

Pretty good game 7, but not great. With that defense, they cannot win without superior goaltending, and Varlamov was just so-so. Game 6 as well.

I thought several guys played good games, but fuck was Guenin bad. Made Wilson look like Lidstrom.

They blew 3 leads, 2 of them coming in the third period. No excuses. I would not call it coming up 'one shot short'.

Additionally, while we saw some players rise to the challenge, we never saw Elliott play. He should have for the experience alone, never mind his puck skills that were needed to replace Barrie's loss. I don't understand why Roy never did that - and why he benched Hishon in Game 6.

BTW, I missed last night because I was knocked out on some allergy medication. :pacman:

Nobody here really cares about your team, Dempsey. We just wanted to goon it up immediately after Barrie went down but that's well in the past.
