behindthenet.ca has some stats like this, but not exactly what you've asked for.

dempsey_k wrote:Well guys, what went wrong this year? We had some key injuries, but that and losing Stastny can't explain it all.
The common wisdom is that Roy is suffering from a his and the organization's disdain for advanced stats.
MacK having the sophomore slump also seems significant. Lando and Duchy have slipped this year.
Terribleness of the defense also not a sufficient explanation imo. A team that has O'Reilly and EJ can't be this bad.

hek wrote:I don't necessarily think it's a downturn, so to speak, but I think I see the point you're making. Varly isn't as good as last year, but he was playing out of his mind at a level that's hard to sustain for goaltenders. Especially so playing behind the defense the Avs trot out every night. Last year he made every big save, this year he's only getting 3/4. Despite that I'd still go so far as to call him team MVP.

Can't really think of anyone else to care about.

The silver lining will be the $10 Coors Lights.
dempsey_k wrote:So, what's the verdict on Roy? Do we blame him for laughing at the god of advanced stats and puck possession?

meh year for Dutch, Mack, Redmond
occasionally surprising but mostly not good year for Stuart and Berracade
everyone else sucked out loud
