best line

It's charming to see people, desperate for bright sides, claim that Ryan Jones had a good game. According to Michael Parkatti via Twitter Jones went -14 in Corsi in a bit over 14 minutes of ice time. But yeah, pick those cherries Tubthumper. If I played street hockey with him eventually I'd just break his ankles and make it look like an accident. Optimists further claim we're just following the path of Chicago and Pittsburgh, accumulating young talent, but the catch was that after those teams got the young talent they also got a hockey team and started winning games with it. The Oilers just go on eight consecutive one-year rebuilds, promising that we'll totally make the playoffs next time. If I spent the better part of a decade being the worst person in the world at my job I'm fairly sure I'd be sucking dicks for spare change on East Hastings by now.

Tambellini is a BC boy and Canucks Alumni. I like to believe he's destroying the Oilers on purpose, out of loyalty to the Canucks. I hope he gets a job somewhere else and builds a cup winner, that would be brilliant.

@DarrenHaynes_CP: Worst NHL save percentage in past 15 years was Damian Rhodes of expansion Atlanta Thrashers in 1999-00 (.874). Miikka Kiprusoff is at .866.

That's a little sneaky.

The only way that's true is if you set the minimum to something like 25 games. Otherwise, you get Grant Fuhr in 98-99 (.856 in 23 games,) Dan Cloutier's LA year (.860 in 24 games, teehee,) and a few others. Since Kiprusoff has only played 14 games it doesn't really make sense to set the minimum that high...

Maybe they are prorating a minimum for the shortened season, which wouldn't be fair.

The first couple pages is a buncha crying from Flames fans. Here's where they find out that the first round pick is conditional.

Chia just OWNED Shero. For a similar package he got Morrow and Murray haha

It's a conditional first too! Chiarelli is amazing!

I have a feeling there will be a statue of Chia-Pet outside the Garden one day...

Peter Chiarelli delivered.

And people wanted Chia's head Like I said, top 5 GM in the sport

Chiarelli just cemented his status as one of the top 3 GM in the league

Incredible trade for the Bruins......can't think of a better fit for this team right now. Iginla's style of play and leadership qualities are a perfect acquisition.

I am so thrilled that the Bruins got Iginla.
I think he is probably the one current player just about everyone respects and wants to see win a cup. Hope this team will do their part to see it done.

What the ****...the biggest kick in the balls ever. **** my life.

I'm going to be sick guys, i'm WTF JUST HAPPENED?!?!?!?!?! WTF?!?!?!?!!

Shero RAPED THEM WORSE THAN WE DID.. WTF JUST HAPPENED GUYS?!?!?!?! WTF ?!?!?!?!

Shero raped Feaster. RAPED HIM. BENT HIM OVER AND STUCK IN INSIDE HIM.

THis is **** dude, ****ing ****. **** PITTSBURGH, i hope Calgary goes NOWHERE.

Sharo just straight up raped the **** out of them too, with a worse deal than what we offered.

what in the ****ing ****

I ****ing knew some stupid ******** was going to happen! ****ing knew it. Boston and trades just never ****ing work, doesn't matter the sport, someone always scoops us last ****ing minute.

Aaron ward for public enemy #1! He was so sure about Iginla to Boston.. April fools came a litte early unfortunately

**** you Aaron Ward

Lucic needs to rearrange Iginla's face in April.

Hes an enemy to me, now. I hope he gets bounced in the first round. Could care less about him getting a cup anymore.

Image

**** you igninla

This is ****ing nonsense.........**** Iggy, i hope that assclown never wins a cup.

i hope Iginla never wins a cup. **** that guy.

i hope the douche never makes it the Cup final.

Chiarelli is getting worse and worse and Jacobs should probably send Neely packing with him if Cam doesn't have issues with his GM. Its that bad.

Chiarelli has been a joke since the Cup. He made a safe pick asset-wise drafting Malcomn since he has the last name and is a prominent goalie at the lower levels. Sorry though, thats not enough to excuse refusing to add to a team on the brink of another Cup.

Makes no sense to blame Ward when Chiarelli himself thought a deal was done. Chia even told the coaches and some players, so Ward def has his connections there.

I think his exact report (it's since been deleted) was "confirmed with multiple sources inside the Bruins organization". Can't fault the guy for that.

Also, the Leafs are the only team in history to lose in game 7 after having a three goal lead in the third period.

Honus is actually awesome. He just plays his role extremely well. One of the more realistic Leafs posters around here.

Yes, but they blew it before the third period. The Leafs had a third goal lead in the third period and still fucked up.

The Leafs' consolation prize seems to be equating a game 7 loss in the first round to one in the SCF and saying at least they didn't riot.

That's why I find it so annoying. The (Toronto) media somehow painted the fact that they got to game 7 as being that they are somehow the "little team that could."

This is the wealthiest franchise in the NHL playing against a team that finished 5 points ahead of the in the standings. Anyone who falls for this line of bullshit is a total lemming.
