Injury updates.

http://canucksarmy.com/2013/4/24/injury-bug-good-news-across-the-board-from-mike-gillis

Basically everyone (except Booth) should be healthy for the playoffs, players are being given extra time because the games don't matter.

‏@sportsnetmurph
#canucks Burrows is out 2nite and will likely be out for a couple of weeks according to Tortorella. Coach says blocking shot was right play

‏@SteveEwen
#Canucks Torts won't talk about the injury specifics. Assumption is that Burrows hurt a leg or foot blocking a shot on a 5-on-3 against SJ

that bottom six is atrocious but our cup winning 2010-11 roster looked like shit in early october as well

Sedin - Sedin - Samuelsson
Raymond - Kesler - Torres
Schaefer - Malhotra - Hansen
Glass - Bolduc - Desbien

Hamhuis - Bieksa
Ehrhoff - Edler
Ballard - Alberts

saw #canucks Jordan Schroeder on crutches this morning. No official word on injury. Tough luck after just coming back from broken foot.

A long winning streak is more likely, knowing this team.

That's what you complain about? Not that we're playing Alberts? Not that the coach has criticized Edler, publicly, but still played him 23m a game?

At least there's a chance to beat Nashville.

So no Corrado? Alberts sucks, Weber sucks, we're down our number one defenceman, and it's after Thanksgiving. Not a lot of excuses left for keeping Corrado in the minors.

Edler out, Burrows out, Alberts draws into the lineup. If I know my Canucks history, this is the point where we inexplicably run off a 10 game win streak.

Ben Kuzma ‏@benkuzma
Gillis confirms Luongo injury from Brown collision. Nature of ailment not clear yet but could be longer than day-to-day. Higgins has flu.

Iain MacIntyre ‏@imacVanSun
Canuck GM Gillis says too early to know how long Luongo will be out. Will be re-evaluated MON in Van. May not be just day-to-day.

Gillis: "It's not a surprise when players run a goalie — the goalie is going to get hurt. And it happened how many times last night?"

I really like Alberts personality. It sucks for any athlete to not get the chance to choose to retire. I hope he's eventually healthy enough and decides to become a coach. I've watched a few of his interviews and his approach to the game was interesting.

Hope Alberts catches on with a network. I can't imagine having a headache every day. McGrattan is a piece of shit.

I think Alberts also got hit by Pelech in the preseason? No suspension there either.
