JESUS CHRIST YES I DON'T CARE ABOUT ANYTHING ELSE

Alternately, the love I have for Raffi was so pure and burning hot. Like a summer fling in a foreign country. Several years have gone by. We're both uglier. I'm in a committed relationship and they've made a few poor life decisions. Best to just leave it as a memory.

But god could she suck dick.

I hear he's a huge wussy so I think you should definitely challenge him.

And film it.

The NHL website is so awful right now.

Trying to access the 2005 CBA gives me a 404 Error and redirects me to the customer support page here. https://www.nhl.com/info/contact-us

So I send my complaint and this is what I get in response.

Dear NHL.TV Subscriber,

"Condensed Games" have been rebranded “Extended Highlights." You can access these on the NHL.com homepage by clicking on the video tab and selecting “Extended Highlights."

In building out our archives, we're adding historic, remastered NHL content every day. Full game archives will be available for all games in the 2015-16 season.
Game recaps and highlights can be found on the scores page: https://www.nhl.com/scores
Extended highlights are available in the video tab on nhl.com: https://www.nhl.com/video/t-278313242
Classic Games can be found on our video page: https://www.nhl.com/video/t-277774732

Because apparently that is just the customer support page for NHL TV? And no one is actually reading whatever gets sent it.

Not surprised by any of this. Only thing that is crazy is how accurate all of the jokes about Campbell were. Makes me think Benning on Empty isn't a parody.

if anyone ever wanted to send an email to the aquilinis, their email addresses (and some other canuck employees) can be found here

https://www.documentcloud.org/documents ... 38021.html

there's actually a lot of other emails here too. david poile still uses an aol.com address. peter laviolette's address is a @me.com, so it's his personal email. you can send hate mail to stan kroenke if you're a st louis rams fan, i guess.

I attribute that to him typing on a phone, some of his were fine. What shocked me initially were Burke's emails, but then I realized he was a lawyer so he wouldn't write like a moron.

Then again, this isn't all that surprising. I thought the same thing when reading a bunch of the Sony emails that came about because of the hack.

Gregory had to fight that idiot O'Brian last night and Gregory's helmet came off. (Kesler was being a d**k)
with Gregory and some Panthers so when Gregory went back at him OBrian came yapping. Gregory used to get into
it with him when he was with Tampa). This scares me with the Helmets coming off.

Oh yeah, some are 2008. Probably Blackberries.

I don't get this logic from Bettman:

Eliminating fighting is eliminating jobs? What a straw man. It's not like they are talking about reducing roster sizes.

The way I read that, it would be eliminating the jobs of the fighters, which is what the fighters/PA were arguing.

Yeah, but why should the PA care/be involved? They'd replace those members with new members.

one playoff game for keith. cant imagine what he would've gotten had he been a repeat offender or had any kind of history with swinging sticks at peoples heads

edit: oh apparently its because coyle is really to blame
But, now with video proof Keith was the victim before retaliation, things get suddenly murky for those who wished Keith was suspended longer...

If you cross check a player in the head and then proceed to trip him when you have him in an extremely vulnerable position and he lands hard on his back and head then you would be an idiot if you were then surprised when the player retaliated by taking a swing at you with his stick as you skated by.

the braying of the anti-hawks masses led to a longer suspension than appropriate. mitigating factors include coyle ramming him in the face with his stick and then "slewsticking" him in midair ramming his back and head on the ice, a similar motion to what led to a fractured leg for stralman.

those two separate injurious actions are conveniently ignored by the biased fans of other teams, but no matter. comes with the territory of dominating the league during this era.

it was an overreaction on keith's part for sure. but i have a feeling if he didn't do stuff like that he would be constantly getting run and cheapshotted like coyle did to him, not once but twice. coyle simply tried to cheaply injure the wrong guy, hope he learned his lesson.
So what is Coyle's excuse then? I mean he could have ended Keith's career with his slash to his face moments before Keith retaliated.

Being out East there's been a bunch of exposure to the Leafs obviously but being more objective and talking with some co-workers throughout the year, they've got legitimate potential moving forward.

Their strategy of leaving loads of cap space so that they had room to take on other teams garbage in exchange for collecting draft picks, was brilliant. Nobody thought of that. I wish we had that kind of innovation on our team. Like when we went to the finals with a roster that was like 10m over the cap because of clever CBA manoeuvring. Now...

It has been talked about before. In particular, much was made about giving up assets to unload David Clarkson's contract when that contract was ruining their roster. There was even talk about it during Mike Komisarek and even Jeff Finger, the granddaddy of all stupid contracts.

It's another one of those things, like signing other teams' RFAs to qualifying offers, that everyone knows about but nobody actually does. In this case, though, there is some reason why you wouldn't want to do it. Perhaps the most important thing any GM should do is to make the team a place players want to play. Consider the supreme ease the Rags have retaining players compared to the frustration Edmonton has with it. Well, if you deliberately under-compete by leaving money on the cap, and what's worse, you leave it open with the explicit intent of loading up with more garbage, that doesn't sound like a team a player wants to go to and one you're basically telling existing players, "we are not going to compete this year." That's gotta be tough. Some players can count the number of productive seasons they have left on one hand.

Right, that's my point. Not a lot separates the two teams historically (aside from just recently) except for the desirability of living in the city. Yet one has historically been able to attract every free agent they want while the other can't even get losers to sign with them. Thus, players wanting to go to your team is a massive advantage.

MLBTradeRumors folks are starting a hockey website!

This is awesome news. They don't write anything themselves but instead collect, share, and summarize information from journalists, radio, etc. Basically a one-stop for all reputable transactions, rumors, and news.

I watched some for the first time today, turned on the game and Canada scored twice within 30 seconds. I figured my job was done so I bounced.

Also nice to see USA get eliminated already.

It's also nice to not feel bad about disliking Kesler.
