This team is going to be interesting to watch and a trainwreck at the same time. So much is riding on things going perfectly. Not looking forward to watching Horvat's development get screwed up.

Until he gets fired in January, Willie will make sure he gets a real good opportunity to be a one-dimensional checking center.

I think I'm going to end up back in B.C. a lot sooner than expected so I get to dive back into this mess.

On the plus side, maybe secondary ticket prices will bomb at some point.

I guess I don't really know if they have or not. What say you, people of Vancouver.

There were $20 tickets available for a least a couple of games last season.

As the season rolls on, the tickets got much cheaper. Season ticket prices haven't really dropped, though.

Well I wouldn't be able to afford season's tickets anyway so that's not a huge deal. Looks like I'll probably be catching my first Canucks home game at some point in the not too nearish future.

I haven't been to a Canucks' home game since 2001-02 (they beat the Red Wings, and Todd Bertuzzi scored all three of their goals, the last only determined by a scoring change after the game, so no hats).

Whenever I've been back in the city the last few years, it's been the playoffs or close to it.

Apart from 2 years in Japan, I've been to at least 2 games every season since 1999-2000. Despite being a season ticket holder with my family/company, I chose to only go to a few games last season.

I assume every account is genuine until proven otherwise. So many stupid people. Even more concentrated in sports.

The Sweden / Switzerland joke is a new high point for the series. I laughed out loud.

It's a bit of a cliché, I admit, but not an incorrect one, based on my time living in the latter.

I legitimately get them mixed up in casual conversation but am able to catch myself. My coworkers, on the other hand, basically have no idea. It's a genius joke.

Benning is incredible at a few things. Being smart is not one of those things.
