I think I'd piss myself in joy if Ristolainen somehow made it as far as the Ducks pick in the 1st round

Of all the guys you listed Ristolainen is my favorite. However, if another miracle happens in that Darnell Nurse makes a huge drop......i think i'd want the Ducks to take him over Ristolainen.

Ristolainen would be a great guy to have, but i'm hoping for someone like Shinkaruk or Mantha. We might use a guy with pure offensive ability, as our D seems to be pretty much OK. Of course, getting someone like Hägg wouldn't hurt ever (just like Ristolainen), but i'd be leaning towards a forward in the first round, and then get someone like Ismael Diaby in the latter rounds.

Hurley, given the amount of quality players available, wouldn't be a good pick, in my opinion. I'm obviously biased, but I'd love to see Marko Daňo or Martin Réway with the Ducks. Or even Peter Cehlárik, he had a great run in the Swedish Elite League as a 17-yr old foreigner, which makes it even more spectacular. Especially Daňo, who's an amazing two-way player, and has played a full season with men in the KHL, would really be an asset. But then again, as a Slovak, i'm definitely biased.

I still think the Ducks need to add another top defensive prospect, but it is a good feeling knowing there really isn't much of a weakness in our system.

So here's the mock draft for the blog network I write for. There have been two more picks than whats up on the webpage. San Jose took Anthony Mantha and Toronto took Andre Burakovsky. We, the Ducks page, don't make our selection until the weekend, but here's who has been taken. who would you guys want us to pick seeing who has been taken and who is left???

I'm personally a huge Hartman fan. I just love his style of play.

Don't see Hiller getting traded although it wouldn't surprise me! Nothing wrong with a 1-2 punch (costly) again with him and Fasth, let Gibson get a year of AHL hockey under his belt and go from there. As far as Bobby goes the draft would be the time it would happen but I think Bob will have to be absolutely blown away by an offer considering there is still a chance we can get a deal done with him. (slim, but a chance.)
