The lows are in the upper 20's here, and that's cold for Fresno, even a slight chance of snow the past couple nights.

Congrats to Sparty! Good game to watch - Dantonio's one of the good guys.

Fresno? Make the best of it, g. Hope you make it home for the holidays.

I was worried about Sparty - thought they were going to pull a Sparty, and blow that 17 point lead. I'm now toying with the thought of going to the Rose Bowl.

As for the holidays, too expensive. Flew back to Detroit in October (and saw the Wings lose in person), but it would've been over $1000 to fly over Thanksgiving, and our busy time at work is now, because of the DUI's and holiday-related deaths.

As for Fresno itself, I pretty much despise it here. I like where I work and parts of California, but this part of CA...bleh. At least it's not Bakersfield. (although Bakersfield does have an ECHL team)

-4 and beautiful here in sunny Vancouver. Lost Lagoon is frozen almost. Mostly. My magic gloves are really getting a workout. How much more magic do they contain? It is uncertain. I've gone through six pairs of longjohns in the last five days, and that's just from the masturbation during naps. I hope it gets warm soon. Time for a nap.

Daughter wants to go out so I walked to the road to see if they're passable. Lady across the road was half in the ditch so I call the young lad and we push her out.

I still got it.

Been pretty balmy here the last two weeks. Partial Sun and + 6. Over on the island for the holidays, it was downright pleasant. Should be getting a lot more rain but it hasn't happened this year. Strange.

Kingston has been under a snow squal warning since last week. I shovel about 6 inches of snow before and after work everyday. The worst is that is has been cold and the snow is very light so when you try to throw it up on top of your 5 foot snow bank the wind blows it right back in your face.

Also if Kingston has even the slightest if hills I'd be thrilled for the great skiing conditions we have right now... :squint:

Edit we had at half kilometre pileup on the 401 today. (That's like a third of a mile for those illiterate folk).

You should've seen the gridlock downtown caused by cars that couldn't climb the hill past the causeway. People couldn't go anywhere, I in my infinite wisdom decided to go to the barrack at lcbo to stock up, what a waste of time.
