Hotdogs

Post #1 by chicpea » Mon Aug 13, 2018 11:05 am

Good morning. I am here to talk to you about Canada's favourite treat: hotdogs. In New Brunswick, where people grow their own, these confections are known as "chienchaud."

Every time I walk to the milk store, there's a truck with men in it, and they angrily ask me if I have hotdogs. Sadly, I do not. However, there is another truck near the milk store with mild men who give them to me to take home. I get a package of "six and buns." On the way home, I stealthily avoid the angry men (because I do not want to be a liar in their eyes) and eat one hot dog before I am half way down the lane. My father used to say: "The first hotdog you eat in an alley will likely not be your last." He was certainly accurate in his hotdog philosophy.

Hotdogs is also a movie starring John Patrick Reger, who played an Austrian. These people love hotdogs (Hapsburg is slang for "hotdog city"). In a dark twist, there were very few hotdogs in this film.

On my hotdog I put green relish and manitoba mustard and raw onions chopped into cubes so tiny that they look like diamonds.

How about you?

We add bolognese sauce to it (pc mac and cheese, not the other kind) to give it a more interesting taste, but mostly mac and cheese is horrible.
