I've come to the conclusion that Michael Cohen must have passed the New York bar exam by just circling "c" for every answer.

From that illustrious beginning, he went on to become a personal injury lawyer and cab operator until he ran into Trump...who only hires the best people.

Reportedly Cohen only has one client, Trump, so the assumption is that he is only around for situations where attorney client privilege is required.

So Hannity, who's doing his radio talk show right now, just inadvertently waived his attorney-client privilege with Cohen:

By proactively protecting Trump from a Cohen flip, Trump's lawyers are increasing the likelihood of Cohen flipping.

In 2006, Giuliani acted as the lead counsel and lead spokesmen for Bracewell & Giuliani client Purdue Pharma, the makers of OxyContin, during their negotiations with federal prosecutors over charges that the pharmaceutical company misled the public about OxyContin's addictive properties. The agreement reached resulted in Purdue Pharma and some of its executives paying $634.5 million in fines.

Mike Pompeo has been less than truthful (well technically its a lie of omission) when it comes to his military service. He did not serve in the Gulf War, as many who supported his nomination to CIA Director, or who are supporting his nomination for Secretary of State have claimed. While Pompeo has never directly said that he served in the gulf war, he's also never corrected the record when others have said it.

On any other day, this story would be a blockbuster. But its buried by North Korea.

As it should be. If North Korea is moving in an honest matter towards lasting peace, I don't give a shit about what Mike Pompeo did in the Gulf War. Sorry. I'm sure Maddow will cover it for you tonight.

Um... two things

I never said north korea shouldnt be the top story. Of course it should. That said im not sure im taking them at their word.

As for pompeo...i think that story also matters. Lying about the qualifications of any cabinet member matters especially sec of state.

He'll get his when the time comes but if you have to choose between like you said, it's North Korea and no, I don't trust them either. Pompeo will get his heat undoubtedly.

Speaking of which, what’s up with North Korea? Was the regime about to collapse or are they being pressured by China into this or is it all a ruse?

When Kim went to China, I figured it was to give the greenlight for NK regime to play ball. We also don't know what type of talks are going on between Trump and Xi. I think China would like the pressure to come off of North Korea as tensions are rising in the South China Sea. I doubt China wants that strategy of tension to work against them. Apparently they had live fire drills which included cutting off Taiwan from the air and "preparations" to try and cut off any independance. Maybe those sanctions were actually suffocating too. I honesty think the Russians have more deviant intentions with using NK then China does these days.

Did Dennis Rodman give him Art of The Deal book because this is all show between him and Trump lol.

They crave international legitimacy, and (rightly) understand their nuclear program as a means of gaining and maintaining a seat at the table. They're happy to talk with folks, but I suspect concessions will be very small--e.g., they will not give up their nuclear program in it's entirety.
