We need a close over $2.65 today Mr. Dog. That will tell the tale.

You just keep buying your GIC's lol.

I'm sorry, that was rude.

Should probably have held on a bit longer to profit from the doping of the US economy (tax cuts + infrastructure spending) and pulled out before it imploded under heavy deficits and inflation, but consider things too volatile right now to warrant taking that bet.

Pretty sure the world is going to end soon so I just want to hit 30k with my quick trade account and pay back my 2003 massive loss. Almost there, can't wait to peel back to boring slow stuff, if I can.

Anyway, strong close today. Feeling better now since it traded tight all day with no big spike to get out in. I'm in for the time being. $2.73 close which is a nice mark above $2.65. $2.65 is key since it was the all time high up until yesterday. It hit the mark in September and didn't challenge it since. See chart link.

Looking at a 1 year chart, the picture becomes clearer. http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=IRD.TO&p=D&yr=1&mn=0&dy=0&id=p04155905994

It appears to be heading up to form a new base. There is clearly a proven base at $2.50. It's ran along that line for a long time. Mid December it bounced on $2.55 and that sent it lower as a sign of weakness. $2.50-$2.53 were key points set in Mid August and Mid September last year. The price needed to close above it, and didn't.

Last week it continued lower as it really did look weak, and shook weak hands out (almost my btw) which profit takers drove it lower, but certainly the buying pressure the past couple days has pushed it passed that $2.50 ceiling that it's held for 6 months, and then past the bigger number in $2.65.

By no means will it be straight up, but I do believe it's now set to take a run at $3 in the next few weeks.

Of course as always, news will kill any predictions, and with year end numbers coming out soon, we will see some volatility. It is nice to lose that ceiling though and be free to try and make a run.

It hit $3.19 earlier. Once again I wasn't around a computer. I was driving back to work and checked the quote and almost drove into the ditch when I saw that it had been at $3.19.

I have a sell order in at $3.09 but I think I'm too late. I'm not going to panic, it will be up and down again. Someone or some group of people are buying. Earnings coming up in under 2 weeks.

I just came here to post the same question. I have to take profit soon, but yes there are no indicators now as it's at an all-time high. With five minutes to go before the close, I dropped down to $3.05 but no bites. I might pay for that 5 cent cheapness tomorrow. We'll see. The bid was stuck at $3.00

Google has earnings estimated at the 20th of the month. I think I want to be out or at least sell half by then. I'm up 28% from when I bought which I think was two months ago or so.

We'll see what happens tomorrow.

The problem is those are old numbers. It changes everyday. $2.85 range is now a new base. I'd be buying there.

I've got a partial fill at $3, but it's hard to clear all of my shares on a small mover. We'll see how the day goes, may have to alter the number.

Pretty light volume so far which is great to see after the huge gain yesterday. It sunk like a rock early this morning with bids way down at 2.81, but has since came back to $3. I have my hand on the trigger but that's only because I'm trying to buy back in the near term.

Artie, I think if you're a little more long you can hold. This should see many days in the $3's. The earnings will be a catalyst or a tanker, but with the volume of buying going on I'd guess it will be positive.

I would expect the price to do something like it did in Mid-August if you check the chart. http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=IRD.TO&p=D&yr=0&mn=7&dy=0&id=p90810767727

It went for $2 up to $2.65

We haven't gone that far yet. It could be rocky, I just don't know how rocky, but I think we're only in the early stages of a month line move up. Just my 10 cents, could be totally wrong with a bad PR, but there seems to be buying support right now even at "over bought" levels.

I've been watching OPS.V. This is an interesting one, but over the last 5 years, this thing is up. It's a fiber optic company which is pretty spread out in the industry. They are in oil and gas monitoring and well as just general industrial business. However, they are also pushing into the medical business and seem to be able to work in that field by specializing in sensing of the cardio vascular system. I haven't read everything, but they seem pretty well spread out.

Of course, it's a young coming spending a ton of money of R&D and throwing money trying to land sales. These guys are financed heavily, quite the opposite of IRD or RCH who have cash in pocket.

I've been down this road before with Arise Tech, who simply out financed themselves. However, OPS seems to be landing some well respected investors.

I'll probably go into this with maybe a small 5K buy in. The short term chart shows that for the last six months it seems to bob up and down making 10 point gains, then pulling back only to do it all again next month. 6 month chart: http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=OPS.V&p=D&yr=5&mn=0&dy=0&id=p37539648370

The five year chart just shows that they are moving on up, and we can see that a string base has been made over the last 6 months in the $1.50 range. http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=OPS.V&p=D&yr=5&mn=0&dy=0&id=p37539648370 IF these guys have their shit together and continue to get the growth, the price is ready to move up to $2. It's clearly comfortable in the $1.50 range.

I've been reading a few of their latest quarterly results and whoever is writing them is going heavy on the hype. Everything is a record, every quarter. They could ease off on that a little. It's a little much.

If you look at the six month chart the price today is right around the 200 DMA and the 50 Day moving average. On the long term chart that's always been a faily safe place to buy and hold.

The latest numbers from the past quarter:
Fractional Flow Reserve (“FFR”) revenues were $2,743,000 compared with $893,000 in the same quarter last year, an increase of $1,850,000 or 207%;
Consolidated revenues for Q1 2017 amounted to $3,745,000 compared with $1,711,000 in Q1 2016, an increase of $2,034,000 or 119%.

Meh, it seemed the news was already priced in. Going to sideways it seems. Content at about $3. I was hoping for a big spike one of these day like we saw a couple weeks, which I'd get out on.

Year end coming any day now. I guess I'll be in for that.

It should have been able to raise far more private capital to grow and went public at much higher valuation -if the founders/private investors believed in it. Huge red flag with these "false public" companies that go public at low valuations to raise money (most likely because they couldn't raise in private markets).

No idea man. They've been around since the '80's. Ownership just doubled the company value in the last year and a half and that's why I'm here.

it's easier to raise capital on the venture exchange than to do it publicly. sort of.
