Nah. Doug was always the one with the ambition to run provincially. Rob just wanted to be the big fish in the little pond. It is somewhat surprising how successful they have both been at achieving their initial goals.

I look forward to statements from the PC's about the American liberal media interfering with the election process after running videos of Doug's brother.

Doug was on the Agenda last night. He's the worst, but I'm already preparing myself for his victory. People are so stupid.

This is what needs to happen before we start legislating Thefacebook et al to be more truthy. Folks have been retweeting TheOnion articles under the guise of truth since the dawn of the internet. If too many people (voting majority) are too fucking stupid to understand what’s real, well, simply put, that’s the business we've chosen. :smuglanne:

It's one thing to be ignorant but it's another matter entirely to be willfully and proudly ignorant. Did I hear it correctly that he wants to exempt people making under $30k annually from paying the provincial portion of income tax? Where exactly are we going to find the money required to balance that? His late crack-smoking brother's non-existent gravy train?

It's insane how much better off the NDP would be with Ashton or Angus at the helm. Singh has no cred with the leftist movement in this country. This could very well be the Mulcair run all over again in 2019, and it wouldn't surprise me if Trudeau outflanked this guy as well.

Looking forward to Avi Lewis & co dropping yet another alternate manifesto. If the NDP had even an inch of smarts they'd work out some kind of nonaggression pact with the Greens regarding BC and some of the east coast. As we all know, nonaggression pacts always work out so well for the socialists.

There has been a rash of gas thefts in Langley B.C., with a twist — of a drill bit.

Thieves are puncturing gas tanks to drain the valuable contents, with fuel prices hitting record levels at 160.9 cents per litre in Vancouver.

I don't think that the NDP have a chance this election. There is a lot of dislike for the Liberals this time around, and it is probably enough to finally get them turfed out of office. The problem for the NDP is that there is not enough similar disdain for the Ford camp. We'll likely end up with a pretty strong PC majority.

The NDP's best chance will come some time in the future when everyone hates both the PC's and the Liberals. And then they will get another Bob Rae situation where people will realize how stupid it is to vote for a fiscally irresponsible party just to get a few social policies i.e. where we are right now with the Liberals.

Nobody will ever hate the PCs and Liberals more than they do right now. They've both run insanely unpopular leaders, it's a perfect storm for the NDP. I don't think they'll win either, but I think the trend all election I going to be everyone bleeding support to the NDP.

It's a shame all the parties are running on garbage platforms. Why can't I have just one political party that understands basic Keynesian economics?

I think that the 905 and the 519 are chomping for tax cuts and less spending after the current government.

The 416 is probably right in the Liberals wheelhouse, perhaps wanting to go Orange. The 613 is mostly conservative anyway. And the north doesn't matter.

The electorate may not like Ford, but they are too right leaning now to go with the Dippers this time around, I think.
